We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay for an extended amount of time. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfy. The service was exceptional and friendly. :)

Rooms are beautiful and staff is very friendly. Luggage carts were fun to ride on making things difficult for the family member pushing the cart. Amish country is also fun to visit and experience.

I spend a lot of time in hotels, mostly Marriott or Marriott-related hotels and inns. Something great about this location is the distance from the energy of city life. It's close enough to go see it, but far enough away for a good night's sleep. The rooms are surprisingly large leaving room enough for 2 queens, a fold out queen sofa and open space..... I just like open space. The room size alone gets 3 stars. The other 1.5 goes to location and general atmosphere (kindness of your team paired with nice calm decor). +.5 more is 5 stars. I don't feel qualified to give 5 stars, but if I made the scale, sure, 5 stars.

Well kept, pet friendly, and a decent cafe/bar. There were several weddings during our stay and Saturday night gotta a little loud. Other than that, our stay was good.

We came to Lancaster for a relaxing weekend away and it turned into a nightmare. I woke up the first night with a bite on my arm. It became so swollen and red that I ended up in urgent care for medication. I mentioned it to the hotel staff and they insisted it wasn't bed bugs and it must've been a spider. I slept in the bed the second night and got two more bites. We pulled back the sheets immediately and found a large bed bug at the foot of the bed. We put it in a plastic bag and gave it to the manager the next day. The maintenance guy also found the bug skin which proves he was there for awhile. The manager said it couldn't be from them because they had an exterminator come a few days before. Obviously the exterminator didn't do a thorough job. They compensated us for the room, but I incurred fees for 3 doctors visits, one urgent care visit, and 2 ER visits. I also missed a few days of work and spent a lot on prescription meds. The manager told us we did not have proof although we gave him a bag with the bug. He told us we were compensated and he is not going to do anymore. We will take this further because I ended up with a severe allergic reaction to the meds I was given and am absolutely miserable. Horrible corporation who doesn't admit they could possibly have bed bugs. How selfish. Please don't stay in a place that cares more about their pocketbook than your well being. There are other places out there that will be more understanding I'm sure.
