I had a very good stay while in town for the Marine Corps Marathon 10K. The room was very clean. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. To me it was worth the money to have the hotel park my car and keep it in a safe and secure garage. Yes there were some homeless folks around as per the other review I have read, but not one of them begged and all were very polite. I am planning on running this race next year and will be booking again with this hotel. Very close to the Metro which was a big plus. The folks in the Metro were equally friendly and very helpful.

Hotel is in a nice location for transit. Parking was expensive at hotel and not much nearby. Guest services helpful. Small gym with a few pieces of equipment. No microwave in room. Across the street from ATF, field trip! Places to eat within a few minute walk.

The employees at the podium were very helpful and pleasant. Even housekeeping smiled and said hello. They asked if I needed help when I was searching for the restroom, which was very kind. The noises in this building are another story The trains that run alongside the hotel are loud and keep me awake through the night even on the 5th floor. The construction in the Indian restaurant on the first floor during most of the day made meetings and conversations in the bar seating area very difficult. I'm not sure if I'd return to this particular hotel because of restless sleep. Some might not be as bothered as I was (those heavy sleepers out there) and trade noise for the location and being super close to the metro.

Nice hotel inside, it looks modern unlike those other wornout hotels. Staff was nice. Bed was comfy and big. My wife and i loved the hotel and its proximity to the dc museums and white house. The price was great; $339 for four nights. Overall a good experience.

Nice room. Helpful staff. Nowhere to eat locally on weekends. Try Union Market a few blocks away, good food places there, worth the walk.
