Good hot breakfast with waffle machine, eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, juice, coffee and breads. The second floor has a fitness area and indoor pool with a small hot tub, though the water temperatures of both were a bit colder than expected. Mini fridge in our room. The north-side rooms overlook a busy train depot which was fun for the kids to watch. Though you can hear the trains, it was not a nuisance. The free shuttle does metro station drop-offs every 25 minutes or so. The building says it is LEED Gold, showing awareness for environmental construction and energy efficiency. I believe it was constructed in 2016. Overall, Yes I recommend the hotel. My recommendations to the hotel: make the pool water/air a bit warmer, make sure there is ice under the yogurts, and buy one more pack-and-play for guests.

My second time staying they have become my favorite place to stay. It’s beyond comfortable everything is clean it’s really a home feeling. The staff was great especially Monique overnight front desk she was super sweet. I went over to home wood suites Leon & Chris was great. If you want a comfortable stay Hampton inn & homewood suites is your go too.

Very nice hotel, with clean rooms. The staff is attentive and thoughtful. We were exhausted when we arrived but it was early for check-in. The front desk sent us off to enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet, and while we were eating, stopped by our table to let us know they had prepared our room early and we could check in as soon as we were done eating! I couldn't ask for better service! The hotel is not on the best side of town, but they offered a shuttle within 2 miles of the hotel, which included the Metro, so there was no need to walk around the neighborhood. Hotel security was good and we felt content with our safety. While it was pretty busy while we were there, we still managed to catch a shuttle about 90% of time places we went, opting only twice to take an Uber. They have a lovely pool and hot tub, which unfortunately they close at 10PM on the dime. Unfortunate, as we would have liked to enjoy the pool later in the evening. The only complaint I have is that the pool was so highly chlorinated that both my husband and my swimsuits were ruined from the water and I practically had to bathe in lotion for a week from the way it dried out my skin! Take it easy on the chemicals there! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel. Modern, clean rooms. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Free breakfast from 6 to 10 am. Breakfast items include eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, yogurt, bread, bagels, cereal, and of course the make-your-own waffle iron. There is a free shuttle to and from Union Station. There are snacks and bottled water for purchase in the lobby. Rooms are very secure, you need your key card to use the elevator. The surrounding area is ok, could be worse, but I wouldn't go out alone after 10.

The hotel is quite nice, my only minor complaint is that it's a bit away from the NoMa metro, but they have a great shuttle that runs every 15 minutes to Union station with access to metro Red line. Breakfast is good. Had a room with a Capital view and was pretty cool watching the sun rise over the Capital.
