I took my car in after I saw smoke coming from the hood. They got me in quickly, listened to me and treated me with respect. They had my car back on the road in no time and had multiple issues fixed. The rates were very reasonable and this will be the only place I take my cars to from now on. I highly recommend them!!

Would not recommend this business.. Covey sold a car to a family member of mine, claimed to have put a new motor in it, and three months later the motor blew up..

My husband and I... more my husband, have been taking our vehicles to Covey's for several years now with great experience... or so I thought. I went in myself this time since my husband was occupied. It was a simple oil change but was told I needed to replace the serpentine belt because it was 70% worn. I asked to see the old part when done. The old part was only 20% worn if that. I was so disgusted with their dishonesty that we will not ever go back. I could've thrown a fit but if that is how they do business... then I'm not buying!!! What a shame.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND RIP OFF!!!!!! My sister sent my mother there beacause her car was bucking and kicking on acceleration and the check engine light was on. It was also leaking a small amount of oil. After charging $65.60 for a computer scan they determined it needed a tune up, thermostat and valve cover gaskets. They charged $320 to replace the valve cover gaskets. We took the car home and it still had the same problem. The check engine light was back on so I took it back to them. They charged her another $75.00 to scan it again, even though they didn't fix the problem in the first place. 
We took the car home and less than a month later the transmission went out. I was told the reason it would hesitate and buck while it was cool was because it was starting out in 3rd gear. These jokers couldn't even tell the transmission was acting up, or did they?
I'm sure some of the work was necessary but their labor costs to elderly women is outrageous.

 This was in October 2011, and reason I'm writing a review now is that I found an honest mechanic to take her car to and he laughed at this bill. He had to redo the valve cover gaskets, replace the upper intake manifold, replace the thermostat and replace the belt tensioner. This may sound German to you, frankly it does to me too. Point is, my mechanic fixed the problem at half the cost of these clowns. 

Don't let me forget also that Coveys put in a new water pump just before the tranny fell out. The car sat for 8 months until she could afford to fix it. After she got the car back from the transmission place the water pump started leaking again and it had to be replaced, by someone else of course. I told them about it,  and even showed the car had been driven less than 400 miles but they wouldn't do anything about it since it was 8 months ago. I thought most parts come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
Had she not been juked out of $1000 she could have had her transmission fixed before it gave out.
I wouldn't take a lawn mower to Covey.
I give them zero stars.....

Soon after being referred to Covey's Auto Repair & Service by my children's father, I have reached the conclusion that  for any type of repair or service to my automobile this will be the go to place!
