The campsites were a little close together for my preference and the hour to put out your fire and be quiet seemed rather early, but the grounds were very well maintained and afforded some gorgeous views of the Saco and the mountains.

There was a mix up in the beginning about our dogs but it was quickly resolved and they worked with us. Our site was clean, private, and quiet. It is really nice here and every worker we met was also just as nice. There are walking trails around the campground going into 60 acres of woods which is awesome. I saw a few reviews on here about a creepy security guard and a golf cart driving around "spying" all day which was not the case. There was nobody "creepy" or jumping from out of the woods. The golf cart went by twice during quiet hours, which is understandable and appreciated to make sure people aren't being inconsiderate of the rules or campers. The only negative I have, which isn't the campgrounds fault is some people did not leash their dogs. We leash our dogs 100% of the time and it is the rule at this campground and we were told when we arrived to make sure they are leashed all the time (it also respects other people with dogs). It was discouraging to see some dogs unleashed but again, not the campgrounds fault. I know if they saw it they would have said something. Other than that, we had a great time and we plan to stay here again in the future. We stayed at site 93 and it was really nice.

Went to Crawford Notch Campground two weeks ago with my two cousins from Rhode Island. We had a very good campsite with a great view of the river. My cousins have been there many times and this was my first time there. We met the new owner (John, who grew up in Lynbrook and moved to NH many years ago) he was very nice and accommodating to our needs. The Bathrooms were surprisingly clean and well kept. The showers were clean and had plenty of room for showering as well as changing. Plenty of HOT WATER! Coin operated which I liked because people would not be taken showers for and hour while you waited. We had no wait time. They do have security to keep the campers safe from any wild life. Remember you are out in the woods of NH. The gentlemen at the front desk could have been a little more personable when we arrived. "No big deal and not a game changer" Great Location and if your into camping and going to NH give Crawford Notch Camp Ground a try. I don't think you will be disappointed and when you see the owner John walking his dog don't forget to say Hi and give him a wave. You'll be glad you did. Just tell him Bruce from Long Island sent you.. Happy Camping At Crawford Notch.

This is a REAL campground! Super clean and very wooded with privacy and amazing views of the mountains! Some other reviews mentioned dumpsters being close to cabins, which isn't the case at all, and the cabins are close to the bath houses which is super convenient. The bathouse is modern and cleaned daily. The general store is extremely well equipped- food, beer, wine, camping gear, hiking gear, ice, camp wood, breakfast sandwiches every morning, coffee, souvenirs.... And the prices are completely reasonable- it's the only store within 25-30 miles! Allows dogs unlike any other campground in the area because they are all national Forest campgrounds. Definitely one to check out!
