Would recommend this campground to anyone wanting to stay in the White Mountains. The owners are very helpful, friendly, and more than happy to work toward solving any problems that might be encountered during a day

As a longtime backpacker, now with little kids, this place offers the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with some creature comforts and help introduce the kids to God's country. The owners are great! They go out of their way to help you feel at home without being intrusive. And the kids loved the heated pool!

Wonderful hospitality. Great events through out the year. Never a dull moment. Plenty of activities in the area. Best place I've gone camping in years.

Nice place by the river with walking trails near it.  Does have vehicle (truck traffic) and train (horn) noise that can keep you awake or wake you at night.  Some sites are tight by the entrance.  Sites by the river (really by train tracks with no river views due to the trees) are back in with some sites on uneven ground.  Place has a game room under store with pool table, video games, and washing machines.  Location is close to Gorham and the Ride The Wilds ATV trails.  Must trailer from campground to trails. 
 Owners are helpful and friendly.

We did not enjoy our one night of tent camping here. Most of the tent sites are directly opposite a train track, and at least two trains came through the night we were there. It was incredibly loud. Also, the campground is close to the road, and logging trucks came through all day and night, and they were almost as loud as the train. The woods are themselves pretty and the sites were a good size and placed nicely. The bathrooms near our site were clean and acceptable, but just sort of dour (cinder block building, no hot water, dim). We've camped at a lot of places, and I hate to give bad reviews, but I really don't recommend this spot if you're tent camping for any length of time. I imagine the insulation in an RV would protect you from some of the train and road noise.
