This company is the WORST! Where to begin? I called them approx. 2 years ago to get my car insured and shop around for the best rates for full coverage. After they told me American Access Casualty Company, DO NOT GET WITH THAT COMPANY EITHER!, they had asked if i was the primary drive between my husband and I, which I was. Then the lady explained I would have to sign a form excluding him from my car insurance, which I didn’t understand what the form was about, but since they said I had to I did. Now fast forward to 11/20/17, I called to make sure I updated my debit card info, add my husband/shop for best rates with him on policy, and windshield coverage. The lady took his DLN and said I am best with American Access(AAI) still and said I was all set after her explaining the system was being very slow and then goodbye. 12/2/17 my husband gets hit by an impatient driver who totaled my car, I called her insurance to start the claim, but due to the holidays and that being my only vehicle I had to put a claim on my insurance to get the ball rolling ( or so i thought!). 2 weeks no calls and then AAI calls to tell me my husband wasn’t covered and that they were not going to help us. I explained how I called Crowel on 11/20 and updated my policy they said they would have to call Crowel and get the recorded calls and or notes by the agents there as proof, which I was all for. Come to find out they do NOT record calls nor do they take a damn NOTE!! How and why do they not have any record as small as a note in their system that says why a customer called especially since they deal with Home & Rental Insurance, Auto Insurance, Life Insurance??!! Pam the manager was rude didn’t seem to care that not only did they not add them they never corrected our info(birthdays) that was ALL WRONG!!! Before that they gave my husband my maiden name! Now i am pursing legal advice and I have to file 2 complaints with Indiana Department of Insurance against both Crowel and AAI. Save yourself the headache and dealing with unknowledgeable ignorant people who can’t even get a name right! Do NOT deal with Crowel and or American Access Casualty Company.
