I have been with Farm Bureau Insurance since 1972.  I would not consider any other insurer regardless of price.  They have always been fair and honest with me through good times and bad.  The people here make me feel like family.  My agent Mark Hardesty has always kept me well informed and has gone out of his way to find ways to save me money.  When I had a claim Mary Scher made the process very painless and fair.  She know I was upset about the accident and reassured me everything would be okay.  She helped to make sure it was!

I have been with Farm Bureau for 15 years and my first time filing a claim has been terrible. It has been nearly two months since I started the process and still no check in my possesion yet.  It is just not about the money its about the way I have been treated.  My uncle had hail damage and less than a week later he had a check in his hands to do the repairs. After this experience I will definately change my insurance company.

Joe Orosz wasted my time in 2003 when I had to quickly transfer underwriting business worth $0.8 mil from another Farm Bureau scammer-agent Tom Fisher. They all knew each other. Joe Orosz stalled the process and behaved in a very unprofessional manner. He would never give a quote for months and when we finally got a quote from him, it was on a blank paper with no company letter head or signature, my name was misspelled and the body of the message contained many grammatical errors. Joe Orosz even bragged that he became Farm Bureau agent without college education. It really shows. I tried 6 other Farm Bureau agents now throughout Indianapolis area, but they shared the same rotten characteristics: laziness, never return a phone call, unprofessionalism and haughtiness. I took my business to State Farm.
