Per guest services, "not all rooms come with fridges." Seriously? This is not a good service to your guests when literally every other hotel chain comes standard with a fridge and microwave. I called the front desk and they were "out of fridges" and put me on a wait list...I never received one or a call back after my 3 night stay. Not the kind of service or conveniences expected for a hotel this price. Otherwise rooms were clean and modern, which is most important. Parking is very limited and a good walk if you aren't lucky enough to get in before 5pm and park up front. Thankfully it's free. Free shuttle to nearby restaurants. I will consider other hotels in the area next time.

Stayed here in one of there suites near the pool. The first room we were given was tiny with a queen bed. We requested a larger room and were upgraded at no charge. The Cabana suite had a living room area that was huge. It included a sectional sofa a large flat screen TV. Also a small kitchen with a microwave Keurig machine and a small refrigerator. There was also a long hallway leading to the bedroom in the back and the bathroom

This is now one of my favorite Tampa hotels! The staff was amazing and so were the amenities! If you get a chance to do a Cabana Suite, do it! Lots of space, great location, and just awesome! I definitely recommend this hotel and the rates are great too!

Checked into the Crown Plaza Tampa Westshore and proceeded to my room. When I OPENED the door, turns out the room was already occupied. Lucky for me the occupant was understanding of the front counter associate's mistake. Went back down to the check-in to get another room. The associate implied I was lying about my room status. A second associate then got the manager. The manager arrived...i explained what had happened. The associate start telling the manager that room was mine and implied again I was making it up. The manager asked my name and I replied and provided my ID. The manager going over the computer with the associate said that I was correct in that the room first given to me was not my room and it was this other room. The associate then stormed off. After everything was cleared up, the room was nice and not currently occupied. Manager was responsive and professional.

Pretty good priced hotel for the location. Some things are dated, but for the price it's tolerable. Lounge was nice with good drink selection.
