Horrible experience at the airport shuttle. Literally took 45 minutes before the driver showed up. I don’t know if he was napping or what, but we called the hotel three times and each time were told the driver would be there within five minutes. Hilarious…

The rooms were about what you would expect from a dingy motel. The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. The only good thing I have to say is that it is close to the restaurant next-door, which had very good pancakes. After staying here I swore I would never stayed another La Quinta again. Fortunately the property near the Atlanta airport (north) is much nicer than this dive.

I’ll make it simple, don’t come here unless you want a horrible experience, and a comparable night’s sleep.

First  room didn't smell good kinda like dirty socks.   Second room was better.  Staff very friendly.  Breakfast was a joke empty slow refilling and small no place to sit.  Usually like staying at this chain.  But was disappointed.   Maybe we just picked a bad day to stay.

Tub/shower dangerous. Room clean but would not stay here again. No elevator to second floor. Door did not work well. Main portion of dining room and lobby needs cleaning and painting. Free breakfast very limited.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff was wonderful! Even though we stayed there during hurricane Irma they couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. They even continued breakfast every day and we never lost power. It was difficult to find somewhere to go that would accept our dogs when we were told to evacuate our home. We were so lucky to find rooms there. I would highly recommend them to anyone staying in the area, good weather or hurricane!

Never going here again. Seriously need a staff overhaul. Not sure if it was just the woman I interacted with or what, but she was the worst person I’ve ever experienced in customer service. 
I was told beforehand to call the front desk upon landing at the airport and they would send the shuttle. I called. I called 5 times and the phone just kept ringing and ringing. Finally when I called and received the initial menu, I decided maybe the person for reservations could help so I called them and a woman, very nice, tried calling on her end. She told me they picked up, didn’t greet her or anything, and put her on hold. Told me to try again, I did and FINALLY was answered.
I told the woman at the front desk about my difficulties reaching her and she just said ‘yeah. We’re busy.’ Extremely rude. 
Eventually got the shuttle (who also complained about me and the other woman who needed to get picked up). 
At the front desk, woman continued to be rude. Never apologized for her lack of service. Then proceeded to put me in the room allllll the way at the back, as if she was trying to punish me for daring to expect human decency. 

As someone who worked in customer service for years, my bar for people is pretty low. This La Quinta was far below. Don’t bother with them. 

(Room was clean but the toilet wouldn’t stop running very noisily)
