This is a cool casual place for family dinner or a lunch with friends. The Bbq chicken salad is to die for. It has a huge variety. My kids like the fold overs and the pizza of course. It is usually packed around lunch time but if you get there for a late lunch you will be in and out in no time.

My husband and I went to this Crushed Red on the day of the soft open. We had never been to one, but had heard good things. The staff were very friendly and helped us through the ordering process (which is admittedly a bit disjointed, ordering different things at different stations). 

The food is tasty, although a little pricey for the portions. I appreciated the gluten free crust option, and mine was delicious, but it was a bit smaller than my husband's regular pizza. Seems a shame to pay more and get less.

We haven't tried the beautiful-looking salads yet, and will definitely be back for that.

Salads are always solid when you eat in. They aren't as good taken away. I like the chopped salad since you can eat it without getting it all over you. The ingredients are super fresh and they never taste like they've been drenched in preservatives. Being able to customize what goes into your salad is also a plus. I have tried the flatbread and they are solid. The iced tea is stellar -- always a plain option and a flavored one. I discovered Crushed Red when they were just in Clayton and hoped we would eventually get one in Edwardsville. So glad they came East!

No one working at this establishment knows what they’re doing or how to treat a customer to make the environment feel peaceful. Our experience was a little overwhelming as there was no help offered. Big price for a little experience
