The front staff is very polite and helpful, however most of the pharmacy staff, excluding the Pharmacists themselves, are generally rude. With Sheryl being the worst offender. The pharmacy staff would greatly benefit from customer service training.  Also, they have made mistakes with my family's medicines and often times claim they never receive your doctor's refill requests. I mean, all of my doctors can't be doing it wrong. I never had any problems at the Portsmouth location when I lived there and used CVS for several years.

If I were only reviewing the CVS store, I would give it 5 stars. The store manager is the sweetest and goes the extra mile to be kind to customers. 

My issue with this CVS is its pharmacy. I am not from Smithfield, and am visiting family. I realized when I arrived that one of my prescriptions was almost empty, and I wouldn't have enough medicine to last me during my stay. I contacted my pharmacy and my prescription was transferred to this CVS pharmacy. The pharmacist working was rude and made me feel embarrassed when asking a question about a medication. Another pharmacy employee was curt and seemed to take her frustration with her job out on customers who were waiting on prescriptions. I've never experienced such hateful customer service. 

If I ever need prescriptions filled while in Smithfield, I'll find another pharmacy. My pharmacy at home is known as a place of compassion and appreciation for customers.

Pharmacy staff at this CVS are rude, curt, disrespectful, and on multiple occasions, have spoken to my wife and me as if we were morons (all during  slow and painful prescription drop-off and pick-up interactions). Rite Aid from here on out.

I love this CVS!  Very helpful staff and the store manager and her supervisor(s) truly care about their customers and the customer experience.

what an awesome place! the staff has always gone above and beyond! from the minute you walk in until the time you leave, you feel like you are in small town store where everyone knows your name. The store is always clean. Highly reccomend!
