What has happened to the Daniel's Broiler of old? The food and service has become mediocre, and the cost much more expensive. Also, we were triple charged for our experience. When I called the following week to dispute the charges, the manager said he didn't see the extra charges, but that his credit card vendor had been charging customers multiple times that weekend. I asked him to take care of the situation for me today, but he couldn't guaranty that would happen. He said, "They're working on it." I said, "Does that mean the charges will be removed today?" He said, "They're working on it." I asked again, and he said probably not, because of the upcoming holiday. He said the issues "probably" will get resolved next week. I had to work with my bank to get the charges reversed.

The Daniel’s Broiler has very delicious steaks their customer service is probably the worst among restaurants. There were few moments which made me absolutely regret coming here. The server gave us the feeling that we were wasting his precious time by being there. Also he kept recommending expensive items as if they are only options and hiding better alternatives. Even on drinks and water!! 1. When we were ordering, I said I’d like the rib-eye and he said “I don’t really recommend that. I think you should go with ‘rib-eye with bone’”, (which costed $20 more than the one without bone) and I said no it’s ok I’ll still get that. And he responded as “really??!!!”, which made me feel very uncomfortable. It made me think something is definitely wrong with that food that he rejects it so strongly. 2. When the check came, we realized we were charged $46 extra! We asked him what that’s for and he stared at us for the first 5 seconds (as if we’re talking another language) and then said that’s for the steak sauce! He didn’t communicate that extra charge with us when he took our orders and I expected him to apologize for this huge miscommunication. But instead of apologizing he stared at us again and expressed no regret regarding our unsatisfactory or his poor service. 3- the other order was new York steak. My husband literally showed the item and said I go with New York. It was 60. He asked with bone or without? He said with bone. His bill came 20 dollar more because apparently with bone was more expensive. While we literally showed it on the menu, we expected he mentioned the price change, not as if these are two options. 4. Because our experience with the server was so unpleasant we asked to speak to the manager. The manager came and seemed to be a nice guy, but having heard our experience at his restaurant all he offered us was that he will speak to that server and tell him serve customers with better communication! At this point it’s fair to say I will never be back at this restaurant. Every good restaurant I’ve ever been to makes sure they are doing everything they can to keep their customers happy but here it was shocking to see how indifferent they are towards all this entirely miserable experience. Overall I think the business practice was fraudulent and not transparent on the service which was offered and the price.

Great location. Easy parking. Wonderful food and ambiance. It is expensive, and the happy hour doesn't have as many specials as it use to.

I gave this 3 stars for a reason, I didn't appreciate a little blonde waitress (med blonde hair, European, pointy nose, accent) flirting with my fiance on our 1 year anniversary. Not once in front of my face, but 3 times. Other than that, really amazing food, timely service ..but on the pricy side. Good food, but that waitress /hostess kind of put a sour taste to our night. Don't flaunt yourself in front of a taken man. You work there to make people feel welcomed, not to make people feel uncomfortable. Maybe if someone did the same to her, she'd realize what she was doing, and stop. Felt really uncomfortable.

The absolute worst! When the Tangerine Sorbet is the best course of your $70 (supposedly) 'PRIME' Rib Eye....I always had positive experiences in the past; earlier this year the Teriyaki Tidbits were 'meh' and they changed their bread an am not a bid fan of salt on my butter. And, forget about hanging out at the Piano Bar..although, the same Pianist still holds Court; it has basically turned into a Giant Karaoke Bar...not my idea for atmosphere the formerly Daniels; waste of money. My friend and I were singled out by an aggressive 'Patron' who was little more than a Bully; when I spoke to the Manager, they did little to address my concerns and allowed her to stay. I won't be back; I'd rather drink bleach!
