This is an Italian style restaurant. The atmosphere and settings is very nice. Our waitress was Lidia who has been here five years. She was able to guide us on some of the subtleties of the various dishes. I ended up ordering the lasagna and it was quite good. The portion size was very large and my daughter ended up taking half of it home. She had ordered southwestern ravioli and it's portion sizes were also large

The food was amazing. Prefect for a date night or family outing. Also family friendly. I had my wedding dinner here and everyone loved it. Authentic italian!

Best Italian I've ever had anywhere. My favorite restaurant. Always great food and great service. Love the sausage peppers and onions, lasagna, lobster ravioli, and had the blackened shrimp risotto tonight. Awesome. Bread and marinara are so good. And deserts like the Raspberry cheesecake... Man, getting hungry again. Nope, don't work there or know the owner.

My family and I have been coming here since it opened basically, well my mom got food poisoning and was up all night from eating the chicken which isn't a huge deal considering it happens ( even though you should handle meat more proper. ) She had called and spoke to the manager and he started questioning her as if she could be lying.. 2 stars because they sent a gift card, very thankful for that! Though we probably won't be coming back.

Our take home was 2 cases of severe food poisoning thanks to this restaurant's food handling and cooking procedures!!! Do yourself a favor and check out this restaurant's food safety history before you eat here. Our most recent visit on June 13, 2017, almost put two of our party of three adults in the hospital after two of us ate their Cajun Shrimp and salad and bread. Our food poisoning was so severe and so unusual in nature and length that I contacted Wake County Health Inspections to file a complaint. The Wake Co. Health Inspector confirmed multiple issues during his initial 5-hour inspection, not the least of which was the Cajun Shrimp they prepared for him that was cooked to 127°F as opposed to the required 145°F. Apparently, they couldn’t even get it right for the Health Inspector! Other issues that the Health Inspector confirmed in his formal report included employees touching and handling foods with their bare hands and issues with food storage and refrigeration, just to name a few. The full history of inspections for this restaurant can be accessed by Googling "Wake County NC Food Safety" and then selecting “Search and View Inspections” and entering “Daniels Restaurant” in the “Quick Search by Name” box. Don’t just take my word for it. Check it out for yourself. Although the restaurant provided a refund for our meals once I went back to their restaurant and demanded this, their Manager made absolutely no effort to contact me prior to this, even though he could have relayed a message to me through the Wake County Health Inspector. My advice, dine here at your own risk!!!
