Amazing food and atmosphere! Not only is the food dynamite but the atmosphere is incredible. Friendly service, but would like to see some more beer/liquor options at the gorgeous bar!?! :) If you are not sure what to get, try the nachos and hush puppies! You cant really go wrong with anything on the menu! Will be back again!

Food was pretty good. Went for Sunday brunch. Service was terrible. To be fair, we were told one server walked out and one called in sick that day. Another table that was seated after us was finished and leaving before we even got our food. Our food order was messed up several times. How difficult is it to cook an egg over hard? (Wife couldnt eat runny eggs bc she was pregnant). In the end the manager tried to make it right but I don't know if we will try brunch there again. Also, they stop serving brunch at like 1030 on Sundays, which seems weird that it is so early.

Went for breakfast, and though the food was really good, the service was not. I don't know if it was a staffing issue or something else, but it took a long time to have our order taken and served. On the other hand, they we're still very nice.

I've only eaten there twice. The first time was a year ago and we were satisfied then. However, we were disappointed on our second visit. It took nearly 30 minutes before we finally got our appetizers. Later on, our server was apologetic for the delay. For the main course, I got the pulled pork with two sides. I wish they could have this chopped up instead. There is no "eastern" or "western" style at this restaurant. The meat comes simply cooked. It's up to you to put on vinegar or whatever other sauce you'd rather have. The pork itself was good, but my two sides were less than desirable. I'm a big fan of fried okra, but it wasn't cooked long enough and it was soggy - just like a school cafeteria. The collard greens also weren't all that good. They have dessert, but none of the items were to my liking. We just opted for ice cream down the street. While the staff was friendly, the food was not good overall. With some changes and improvements, this restaurant could be really good, but until then, I doubt I will revisit.

I wait outside to be served, no one came to me , so I went inside. The waiter was also the bartender. He recommended the platter. I ordered the hickory pull BBQ platter w/2 sides. The meat was tender & good, so we're the sweet potato fries & root beer. The brussel sprouts were not as warm as they could have been when served. The place itself is very comfortable.
