I really enjoyed the appetizers from the Peak City Grill that included Crab Cakes that were to die for with big hunks of crab meat.. I also enjoyed the Ribeye ground sliders that were so tasty and tender.. Sharing these two appetizers were enough for a meal for two.. I sat at the bar and the service was great The people were friendly, the locals at the bar, as well as the Staff..I enjoyed time with Julie, Owner and Client of mine @ La Salon on Salem Street .. it was a wonderful after work experience .. Thanks Julie !!

Ate at the bar. Weren't offered water. Had to ask for a drink. Dishes weren't cleaned away when we were done. A worker reached over us to serve himself water. Not asked if we wanted dessert. Two female bartenders talked and were on their phones the whole time. Asked for the check and the bartender to told us to wait and went and listened in on a conversation among patrons at the bar for seceral minutes before we had to get up and walk over and insist we get the check. Have been here several times, this is the last. Awful service.

Our go-to place in Apex. It might be pricey for some, but the food is very good and reliable. They also have a decent wine selection and a decent rotating beer list. We always sit at the bar and the bartenders are very friendly. They also have live music on some nights. Generally very good atmosphere.

My husband and I dined at Peak City Grill this past Saturday evening.   What a disappointing dining experience it was! We've dined here before and know that Peak City Grill is noisy but Saturday it was particularly loud even though it didn't seem as busy as usual.  We were initially seated downstairs but even shouting couldn't understand our waiter. He kindly found us seating upstairs and we were moved. Our dining experience continued to decline from there.  Our waitress was EXTREMELY slow/behind, took FOREVER to serve EVERYTHING and was unapologetic for it. If she had no backup she should have asked for help! It was a long wait to put in our order so we ordered everything at once. My husband finally asked where his beer was and it was delivered--lukewarm. As the waiting continued we asked for bread as we were hungry--still waiting for salads. She said "oh, I'm warming it for you". Came back with bread and salads. My salad was wrong (I requested no onions); sent it back, waited for a new one.. Had barely started salads and here she comes with entrees.  Said "kitchen was turning orders around quickly;" did we want her to "put them back under warmer." Are you kidding me! We'd already been waiting over an hour for some kind of food!  No apology. I told her to leave them. Turns out entrees were lukewarm at best. The kitchen may have turned them around quickly but waitress did NOT.  They had to have been sitting somewhere else--with our salads--for a while like Wayne's beer. Flavor was good but my asparagus should have never been cooked. It was obvious by looks that it would be tough/stringy because of the whitish/yellowish stalks. It was. Even a novice cook knows this. The upstairs cleared out except for one other couple yet the waitress still couldn't make time to check on us.  My husband had to chase someone down to get another beer. At least this one was cold. The waitress was too busy standing over by register. She brought us dessert menus but then didn't come back. We'd had enough of the waiting game and EXTREMELY bad service. I had to go get her to ask for the check. We got dessert somewhere else. Can't say we will/won't come back...doubtful as there are too many good restaurants out there that do betterl. Haven't gotten this bad of service before but not sure it's worth the noise level here especially for the prices. In addition the appetizer choices are very limited if you have a shellfish allergy. You WILL NOT have a relaxing date night here! For a $100 meal it was certainly not worth it! Yes we could have complained but I don't want someone spitting in my food. Peak City Grill gets an 'F' rating for this experience.

Great atmosphere. My wife and I arrived at 5pm right when they opened. We were not able to get a booth because booths are for larger parties. We got the bleu cheese chips for an app and they were good, not great. I got the Drunken Scallops. They were absolutely unequivocally fantastic. I also got the Caesar salad which was good as well. My wife ordered the strawberry arugula salad and she gives it 4 stars. Her entree was the Southern Fried chicken cordon bleu. She gave it 2.5 stars. It had way too much breading on it. Even the server acknowledged that stating she told the chef the same thing earlier. So all in all, my entree and salad were good, but with the chicken issues and it being a bit pricey, the best I can give is 3 stars. I had 3 great beers though. :)
