Dave’s Auto is the last of a dying breed, honor-based car service. Miles and the Layton crew have not only fixed my car in a timely matter, but have kept my visit as cheap as possible. When an associate states they will give you a call at a certain time, they keep it; word is bond. They have a life-long customer in me, and I hope you to take your vehicle for an oil change or engine swap. You will be dealing with the best!

These guys are great.  They are very skilled at working with Ram Diesel Trucks. I had some tricky things happening with my emissions that the dealer struggled to diagnose and fix so I decided to give Dave's a try and they ACCURATELY and quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue.  I have since been back to them on a couple other things and they did great work.  They are very transparent so you don't have to worry about surprises.  I now use them for regular maintenance as well.  On top of all of this, they really try to offer great customer service by being flexible with their schedules and keeping you updated on the progress of the repair or service.

Had my Jeep serviced there and they found problems that nobody else has seen on my car. They were able to fix them too. Friendly staff.

Wow! I have to say that I owe a public apology to Dave and the boys at Dave's Auto Center in Layton for posting a negative review earlier. 
My truck broke down .4 miles away from their shop inn southbound 1-15 during the peak of morning traffic. They came and helped me get my truck off the road and we have come to an understanding. They communicated the nature of the estimate to me and now we see Eye to Eye.

After reading many reviews on where to take my car I chose to go with Dave's Auto. They were very straight forward and honest on what my car needed. Miles and Dave (the owners?) were very kind when I asked MANY questions. They were able to beat previous quotes I had gotten. I would definitely recommend both shops (I have now been to both). They had my car ready to go by the next day. They also gave me transportation to work while they were working on my car.  I would definitely take my car to them in the future! Customer Service goes a long way in my book! Thanks Dave's Auto!!
