Their website states that their motto is "don't pay for te name, pay for the move. It further states they want to give elite service at an affordable prices. It also states that they are professional. I found that all to be false. The movers that DC MOVERS provided for my move were not working as professionals. I hired DC MOVERS to move me, i was quoted 2 hours, for 275.00. The move took doible the time, and cost me douvle the money. Myself, and my kind new neighbors assisted with moving my items into my new apartment. The two gentlemen moved with no sense of urgency, ir care that hours had passed. After receiving the bill of 550.00, i contacted their manager to explain my frustrations, and digust, he agreed to substract 50.00 off the the already outrageous bill. On monday i receive a text from him stating they want to ensure my satisfaction by refunding 75.00; however he wanted me to sign a release form. He forwarded the release for, but after reading it, I didn't feel comfortable signing the form. After telling him of my unease about the form, he informed me by text message that, They would charge me the 50.00 that he substracted on Saturday, and that they would charge my credit card. I TOLD HIM NOT TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD, AND THEY HAVE ALREADY PINGED MY CARD TODAY. I WAS GOING TO STOP BY HIS LOCATION TO PAY WITH A MONEY ORDER.  Absolute worst experience. What should have taken three hours, took over five hours, and that was with the help of myself, very kind neighbors pitching in to carry items into my new home.
Very disappointed with this moving company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH DC MOVERS. MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN HORRIBLE, THEY HAVE ROBBED ME, AND CONTINUE TO ROB ME OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.  I FOUND ALL OF THEIR CLAIMS ON THEIR WEBSITE TO BE FALSE.

DC movers were great ! They were polite,professional,on time,and quick. They moved my 2bedroom in 2 hours. Quote was spot on ! Good job guys,and Thank you ! I will recommend,and use your company again if I ever need to move.

This company was almost two hours late to my appointment time they scheduled. When it was all said and done the man tried to over charge me until I had to correct them. They were not careful with the move I have to now spend just as much money as I did to have them move my stuff as I do to now fix my bedroom furniture which is all broken and other things throughout the apartment that is now broken. 
I let me tell you save your money. I went from paying $299 to a grand total of $602.75. 
Save yourself from this nightmare.

We did  a simple move from Raleigh to Durham. Found these guys through the apartment complex. They did a really good job. They wrapped everything, the move I had was called the economy pack and it came with free boxes they delivered and wardrobe boxes, mattress covers, etc. Very professional and polite. I will use them again.

In my opinion, they deliberately moved slowly in order to increase my bill and were unresponsive to my requests.
