I am very pleased with my services from DC Movers. They came highly recommended by my realtor and handled my move with kindness and expertise. 
I had a large move from Apex to storage. They came with four men and two trucks moving half of my belongings to my rental and the other half to their storage where it will be held til February. At that time I look forward to working with Develynne the crew again. 
They didn't take for granted that I don't move everyday and talked me through how to be prepared. Things like the best way to pack breakables and that pictures won't travel safely on the truck if unboxed. Several other things that made the move safer for my belongings. They do an assortment of services which included mounting my TVs. 
Some thing to know is prepping takes a while. My furniture looked like gifts when they were done wrapping it. After seeing the time it took to get everything ready to move I knew the flat rate was the best option for such a large move as opposed to hourly options. 
I highly recommend this company. They take their work seriously.

Our family made a rather large local move in Wake County, Raleigh, a year ago with DC Movers. Develon was absolutely professional and responsive to phone calls and emails prior to the job, and he even delivered a set of new boxes for our use in packing well in advance of the scheduled date. That special touch gave us confidence in the integrity of DC Movers and gave us a chance to meet him in person. The team who helped us on the big day showed up with lots of focus and muscle, performing an amazing job of keeping everything safe from damage. They carefully wrapped everything in plastic which did take extra unexpected time, but was worth it because we were assured they kept their trucks very clean and our sentimental pieces would not be scratched or soiled; providing real peace of mind. The men were courteous and capable throughout the 5 hours of moving and setting us up in our new apartment home, placing everything where we needed it to be. I would recommend customers add 50% more time to their estimate than what is expected because this company is going to  take the time to complete a fine job while remaining more affordable than other reliable movers. Thanks DC Movers for really coming through for us.

I have never found myself so dissatisfied by a company to feel led to share my experience publicly. This company came recommended to me by a friend and I take recommendations on complete faith and trust. 
My families experience with two moves with this company has been awful. The customer service is poor: do not return calls, very slow to respond to emails, they tell you they will do something and do not do it and the best of that, they do not bother to call to accept responsibility. It has taken just right at a month to have an item repaired that their guys broke and told me they would have fixed.  The operations manager told me they are fixing for me as a courtesy. It took me calling to ask when I might get my household item repaired and returned before anything happened. 
The guys that do the work, smoke, use bad language, do not set up the items safely and damage personal property. No two moves are handled the same, some of us get receipts and properly document issues, others do not.  I know we live in a transit area and many more people will stumble across this company, I would do your homework before selecting this company to handle something so personal as move of your personal belonging. Moving is hard on everyone and the last thing you want to do is still be dealing with issues a month or more later because a company will not respond. I wish them the best in their business endeavors, I would never recommend this company to anyone.

My experience with D.C. Movers was fantastic. They were by far the most affordable company I looked into, and I was 100% satisfied with my service. My two movers were incredibly efficient and got the job done quickly. I will definitely use them again in the future.

D.C. Movers LLC were wonderful to work with.  They arrived right on time and worked quickly to get me into my new place.  The movers were courteous, and made the whole process a breeze.
