As I write this review,  I also see that the 2 reviews listed om his website are done by the owner and his wife.  that should be the first "RED" flag for any potential customer.  My unfortunate experience with Mr. Purley should have given me the loud whisltle that this independent moving company does not live up its commiments via email or text messages and phone messages.

Mr. Purley is a really good con salesman. Granted he knows his stuff about moving having had experience before setting up his own business, but boy oh boy, did he con me with his personable presentation that everything would be perfect for my move out state. knowing the dates I needed he could not  firm up nor being honest with me that the end of aug. dates could not be done.  After finally telling me he could not move me out of state, I asked him if he could move some furniture that was to be auctioned off at auction store in Raleigh. Date/time/place were confirmed via text messages, emails and phone calls.. But I got stood up and left out in the learchm0n 8/15/16..  No surpise as my gutt feeling was that Mr. Curley was continually leading me on knowing that he wouldn't produce.

will I refer Mr. Purley to folks I know in Raleigh and are planning to move.  NO WAY.  He's certainly very likeable,  but also very slick as it relates to his business and so-called professional standards.  Now let's see if he will put these comments on his website along with the 2 comments from his wife and himself.  I expected much more from Mr Purley and got "sucked into his energy level."  He has learned well from his previous moving company experience and is playing the same game all other moving companies play.

Too bad

Very angry and disappointed with Curley as he came across  as a very likeable, helpful businessman.  That should have been my first clue.  too good to be true.

My Purley is quite the salesman and that is all he is. He didn't come thru for me knowing that he couldnt, but kept telling me he would make it work.  It didn't and at the last minute on 8/15/16 when he was to come to my apt. and move some furniture to the auction house, he finally called to tell me he couldn't do it.I had called him in the a.m. and he had called me in the a.m. to say he was running late due to truck arriving at first location but would be over to my place by 2 p.m.  No such luck.  He finally called me back at 3:30 p.m on 8/15/16 to tell me he couldn't do the  moving job he had promised to do for me that day. I spend the entire day waiting for him.   Mr. Purely does an excellent sales presentations.  However whats missing with all of his talks and platitues about his moving business company is that he cannot follow up with his commitments and assurances that he can do it.  Pretty bad for a "professional moving business"  If anything, most unprofessional and I could no longer trust him and lost a great deal of respect for him.
