Linda, the manager, and her staff were beyond great. I called to ask if I could still get a campsite late Saturday night, and it was absolutely no problem. Their business hours end at five, but they were nice enough to meet me at 6:30, show me toy site, answer questions, and didn't bother with payment until the morning. Their customer service made the trip. The campgrounds are spacious, with a very large pond for fishing and canoeing, and Deep River runs right next to the camp. My son and I had an exceptional experience. If you want a quiet getaway, this is the place.

I absolutely love this campground! The staff is super friendly and helpful. There are two pools open during the summer season and both are very well maintained. The lake is full of fish and there are kayaks available to rent. The campsites are roomy and power is available at most of them. Plenty of space for a walk in nature and firewood is available from the camp store.

My family's first time here was memorial weekend, and all I can say to sum it up was unforgettably fantastic! The service provided by Scott, Nikki and DJ was amazing. This was the first time my family had ever gone camping and my children whose age's range from 4-6 were so happy and excited about everything that they did, FYI the face painting, candy necklaces, tattoos that Mrs. Nikki herself did. Although it rained on and off there was still things available to meet your needs. We have sense returned and every time we are welcomed with open arms. Thanks to Deep River Campground for making this summer special and all the memories. Hope to see you this winter for mine and my husband's anniversary an rent one of those cabin's. Thanks again Christina Browser, and family🌲🐞🐝💐🌸🍀🌿🌾⛺⛺⛺⛺⛺

I always hesitate and get nervous when trying a new campground. This was a camping trip for the sole purpose of breaking in a new camper on its maiden trip and making sure everything works , while remaining close to home (hour away). We were greeted upon check in by very nice and courteous staff. our site that was given to us was roomy, easily accessible and clean. It was great fun reliving old nights playing Pacman and shooting pool in the small clubhouse area (which was also nice and clean!) Although a bit cool for swimming, the pools were nice and clean, the fishing lake was gorgeous and is a nice compliment to other activities available there. This will probably become our default campground now, I'm sold on it. Close to the Zoo as well! Oh, Shower house and bathrooms, clean and well stocked. Campground Staff stayed on site to quickly resolve issues if any should come up.

We stayed here for just over a week. We paid for the first week and when we checked in we told them we maybe staying for a few days after that week. We enjoyed most of our stay. There were a few things we didn't like. First was that if your rv is older than like 10 years old they make you stay in the back part of the campground (I thought segregation ended years ago? Lmao). Our rv is older bit in good shape. I would be really mad if I had a classic airstream or something similar. Second, the campground has had tight and narrow roads. Very had to get through with just a truck. Almost impossible with an rv attached. My husband (who drives semis for a living) ended up hitting useless pole that was sticking out of the ground and scratched our brand new truck. Third, they put us right on a hill. There was no flat space on our site at all. Once our week was up, my husband went to the office to pay for the day. They told him to just come back tomorrow. The next day he went back and told him he needed to pay and they blew him off. They acted like they didn't want it. The next day we had to leave early. They ended up charging our credit card (I would have rather pay cash) but they charged us more than we had originally told us. We will never return which is unfortunate. The owner Nikki was extremely nice.
