This was our 1st summer at Lake Myers. We had a real good time there. It IS an older campground, but they are working on updating things. Every time I used any bath house, though old, they were always clean. Water pressure could be better, but your camping, it's not going to be like home. Being our first year we did not get to know a lot of the regulars, but most were very friendly. All of the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. I guess the one thing that was a little disappointing was the weekend entertainment. While most of the campers range in age mid 30s and older the band's and DJs played music geared toward a younger crowd. I would love to see them have themed night's like big band night, sock hop with 50s-60s music, and 80s night. The pools were always clean and we never had an issue with other swimmers, everyone was respectful. The end of the year Halloween weekend was a blast! The campers decorated their camp sites and handed out candy. It was fun and safe for everyone! We are looking forward to another season.

It's just OK. Prices are a little steep if I ask me since the putt putt course is falling apart and there are like 4 games in the arcade an that's it. There's a little playground 4 children that's in good shape tho. U can camp in anything including a tent so that's a plus. They rent golf carts and also little shacks to stay in which are actually pretty nice inside. There's also a grill u can order food from but it's rly expensive.

The website is very very misleading, the place does not look nothing like the pictures!! I was very disappointed!! The place is a dump!! About 95% of the place is permanent spots, and very few camping spots, and there every which way. Thank God nobody parked in front of us because it would have been so close to us we wouldn't have had room for nothing. The water stopped working, we had no way to get our gold cart off. Those new paved roads does not exist, the putt putt is nasty and is old not nice at all. Very misleading. Will never go back!

Very disappointed. Booked 3 nights 7/21, 22, 23 actually left early. I hate to waste my hard earned money because the place was misrepresented. The facilities not only are old but they just don't work, not enough water pressure to even wash your hair. The water slide is disgusting!!! The stench when it is operating is enough to keep me away. The slide operates on the stagnant pond water and cannot be healthy, I wouldn't even let my dog enter that. I emailed Encore to complain - not once but twice still no reply. BE WARNED THIS IS NOT A RESORT!!! Update, I have now been contacted by Lake Myers New Management and they have explained they are in the process of updating this facility. I do feel better that they have at least responded to me.

Was there about 2 weeks ago with a friend for a few days. They had cleaned the pools and around them, starting to pave some of the roads. They had some different workers there and they were actually doing their jobs and were friendly and helpful. Their pool monitor was a joke because he never took his eyes off his phone. Guess it was a good thing that it wasn't very busy and not a lot of kids to watch at the pools. A lot of things are changing for the better since Anna went out on maternity leave and Corporate has paid some visits. A nice getaway if you have a place there, but still expensive even if you do have a place there.
