I've stayed here a couple of times. Rooms and lobby are all recently remodeled. A cool modern feel for an old hotel. There is only one person working, but that person is always friendly and accommodating. This is connected with the Marriott East, allowing for extra options for dinner, etc.

I stayed at the basic level room. I have never been to a worse hotel. The shower and bathroom were very unclean and the tile was sharp on the feet and uneven. For lights there are two crappy lamps and reading lights that don't do their job. There was a shelf on the wall that fell off after putting minimal weight on it because of its poor design. It used 2 drywall screws to hold an 80 pound plus shelf. There is no screen in the window and it doesn't lock. The bathroom door also doesn't latch or lock causing me to feel exposed and uncomfortable. The ac/heater does not work either. The hotel has ridiculous rules that don't make sense also such as you cannot leave your room after 9:00 and only high payers get continental breakfast and can use the pool. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. If you have no other choice but to stay at this hotel, I would recommend not touching anything because it might fall apart.

The basic room we stayed in was small. Missing a screen and the widow, heat nor a.c. worked. The beds where alright but not much for bedding. The closet was bigger than the bathroom it felt like. Not alot of floor spaces, and the court yard area with our window offered no privacy, had to change in the closet sized bathroom. Shower tiles where sharp and not cleaned, water pooled in the bottom of shower and did not drain. Minors were not allowed out of the room after 9 pm. And no continental breakfast. Poor service.

This place is a dump. They completely misrepresented what this hotel was and had the nerve to charge well over $100 a night. Do not believe the pictures you see. The rooms look like they are from the 1930s with hobbit beds. There are no mini fridges or coffee makers in the room. They do not eve have working ice machines anywhere in the hotel. The chair in my room is torn with a giant sharp metal piece sticking out of it, right at eye level for a child. You have to go to the hotel next door to use the gym, get ice, and eat breakfast. They did waste a whole bunch of money on stupid statues in the lobby though. Do not stay here. It is a rip off.
