Marriott East doesn't seem to care about Gaming Conventions or the people that attend them. Long gone are the years when one could attend an event at the Marriott and enjoy yourself. I doubt I will be back. They enjoy the company of our money FAR more than they enjoy or company. They want us gone, and I believe I will be glad to go. The restaurant is good.

Was there for a day convention. Great location just off the interstate. On the East side, but is not that far from downtown. Octavia at the reception desk was helpful and very pleasant. The food at the convention was OK. The potatoes were a little 'hard' and the food was fair. This is a nice hotel and convention center.

Updated in an older building. This hotel is huge - long corridors with a ton of rooms on the either side. Reminded me of the old Vegas days. It is conveniently located just off the interstate but isn't noisy due to the wall s built around the highway. I loved the lobby and the open area in the middle of the hotel building - both are great places to hand out. Staff was helpful. The best part for me was the home made granola in the breakfast - simply AMAZING. Had an very pleasant stay overall. Would recommend.

Great beds, helpful and friendly staff. Great food in the lovely bar area. Comfy seating. Beautiful, huge glass wall fireplace feature. Great for conferences. Great for weddings. Beautiful "salon" meeting rooms.

Conveniently off the highway. Clean good facilities. Unfortunately, the communication between day and night shifts leaves opportunity for significant levels of service failure. While the physical property was suitable, the managements lack of communication with its employees and opposing shifts will keep me from coming back again.
