Terrible doctors office, you can never get a doctor. Unless you want to wait 2 or 3 weeks. So you end up settling for a nurse practitioner. Who doesn't have any answers to your questions. All they do is send you to a specialist. Who will cost you $60.00 on top of the $30.00 you just had to pay them. I went in to have a prescription written for medicine I have been taking for 4 years, and had been prescribed at this office before. But the nurse practitioner (Robert Ellis) didn't know what the medicine was, didn't fill comfortable prescribing the medicine.Even though I had gotten it prescribed from that office before. So he gave me a referral to a specialist. I had to pay his office $30.00 and the specialist $60.00.They also make you get blood work every time your prescription runs out and make you come back in to tell you your results even if everything is ok.Another $60.00 for both office visits, plus cost of blood work. I did like Dr. Linda Lau the one time I actually got to see a real doctor. She actually knew what she was doing and could answer your questions.I'll be looking for a new Dr. office.

My family and I have been going to Desert Grove Family Medical for all of our basic medical needs for about 3 years now. We have all had a very positive experience. The staff is polite and friendly. They listen to my concerns and take time to make sure all of our questions are answered. We have been able to be seen the day we call (you just have to be sure to call right when the appointment line opens in the morning). Once when my daughter had an earache on a Saturday they saw me at another near by office and got her taken care of. All in all I love Desert Grove and will continue to go there for my family's medical needs.

I have never been so disappointed in a dr office. I have been with them for over 2 years go in for my check up and medicine refill..i get part of my medicine but am.told i need blood work. No big deal. Get that done. Then they never call my meds in. Also. I ask about my mammogram and get told by the dr.mind you that "they only scheduled you for 15k minutes you will need to schedule another appointment to talk about that" i am sitting in the office now and she cannot write a simple script foe a mammogram. All i could think was wow. I had to call the office manager to get my script for my mammogram. Now it has been several.months. i am still waiting on my meds because my refulls were never called in. Good thing i had samples put up. I called again to get my medicine and get told that because it has been a few months i will need rechecked again. I came in for a yearly exam not for a so called dr to do a halfway job. This place sux. You can find much better service and dr.

This office has the worst receptionists I've ever seen. The doctors also never send prescriptions in to your pharmacy. This is the 5th time I've had to call and pester them just so I can get my medicine.
