Found this office, unfortunately, because of an insurance change. We had moved to queen creek, so it was very close to home. Upon my first visit with my two young children, I left the office feeling very rushed with no compassion for my children. Attempted another visit 3 months later for a typical medication refill. The NP came into the room and immediately gave me a rude look, saying, um, I don't know that we have met. She was correct, we had not met. She did not give me the time of day. Immediately pre-judged my situation with very little backstory, and made the absolute rudest and degrading assumptions possible. Gave me no professional medical advice, simply blew me off in the rudest manner. Left the room, said she had to consult another physician, only to come back 45 minutes later, obviously surprised I had stayed to finish the consultation, stating, "Oh, you're still here?!" She then proceeded to exit the room again, dodging any chance to ask questions and/or further clarify any information. She didn't even conclude the appointment. I left feeling so upset and stunned in disbelief at how rude and disgusting the physician and the office staff had acted. Do not waste your time and money at this place. Terrible. If I could give zero I would. First couple visits were ok, then... They can't bill insurance right, or book an appointment for the right time. Specifically told Nicki I had to have blood work done for a specific test. She booked me and I sat and waited while the lab closed. Have to call several times to get info faxed over and sent to the appropriate place, then when I have never had a copay before and was unaware of the change they refused to see my child over $20.00. I told them I was in the way but still refused to see him until a later time. They always seem to be running late.... I wish I could bill them for time missed from work! This place is a joke and I will drive across town to go back to my other provider!!!

Our family has been treated by Dr. Hoag and his staff at Desert wells Family medicine for the past 10 years. We are so grateful for the exceptional level of care they provide. Our lives have become so fast paced and its no different when going to appointments. However, at Desert Wells we feel all of the providers there really take the time to listen to what is really going on so they can properly diagnose and treat you. They always remember my family and follow up on our care with genuine concern for our well being. We feel like we are treated as if we were one of their own family members. Thank You, to all the exceptional staff at Desert Wells Family Medicine.

Doctor was very snippy with me. I am a young man. She ordered a RIDICULOUS amount of blood work, urine test, the whole nine yards even though I had most of those done at another facility. I spent plenty of money here only for them to tell me NOTHING and send me to a specialist. I do not recommend Tanya. She was snippy with me and came off rude. It was not the most comfortable experience. If I could have done it again I would have gone somewhere else.

I had great experiences before at this office but the last 2 times did not go so well. I was in twice because I was sick for 7 weeks...I had to ask for a chest xray to be ordered and blood work to rule out anything else. Xray was ordered and came back nornal. Blood work was then ordered and came back elevated in 1 area. They made me come in and wait for 45 minutes to be seen. The doctor had no idea about my history and tried putting me on a bunch of medications. Mind you, I had already done 2 rounds of antibiotics, 2 rounds of steroids. I told her no. She then said the lab work was elevated because of my allergies and I would have to see an allergy specialist. Im disappointed I wasted 90 min of my time and $70...to be told I need to see an allergy doctor. Poor office policies. Its unfortunate as I used to refer others to this office.
