I am currently in this situation!! I went to this place which is VERY affordable! They had me to sign my lease "because they go so quick" i did but wanted to see the unit and make sure to notate any deficiencies prior to moving in! When i went in the apartment it smelled HORRID..That wasn't the bad part, it was an INFESTATION of roaches in the tub, all over the counters, and smashed on the walls! I was informed to not move into the 1637 building because that seems to be a problem! I downgraded to the two bedroom but still haven't moved in because i am really skeptical if all of the apartments are roach infested but just cleaned up!

there is no specific smoke policy so everything smells of smoke and now all my clothes smell too because someone else in the building smokes. Guess they don't care if everything smells or about the tenants health but they freak out if anything else is wrong. Office staff is rude and don't care about you and don't want to help you. The buildings are older, nothing is updated and stuff not working. The stuff that wasn't working was listed and office informed but nothing was done. Cant wait to move out. Not to mention the random people that walk around at night and tried to talk to my daughter and scared her. Live somewhere else if you can.

Haven't had any huge problems.  Stuff does break alot but usually someone comes to fix it no later than a day after we call. The manager works pretty hard, nice older lady. Laundry is 24/7 so that's nice. Been here a little River a year and haven't had any issues really. Not a bad place to start out

I've lived in my apartment for several years now and have never had any problems if something needs to be fixed it gets done either the same day I call or the next day the staff is very nice they have never been rude to me ... I do have to say that they don't play when it comes to anyone braking any of the rules in the lease but do you blame them ..?? 
So basically follow the rules they have pay your rent on time and you won't have any issues...
