This is one of the better Dick's Sporting Goods. It has a larger selection than most in sporting goods, apparel, and equipment.
What's great about this Dick's is the employees! I went in to buy a new pair of shoes with my friend, and it was packed. I thought, "no way". To my surprise I was greeted within the first minute I was in the shoe section, and the employee had my shoes out to me within 5 minutes. He & one other employee were helping 10 customers all at once, and 3 of the customers had children that were buying shoes for also.

Great store with lots stuff. Although lacking in hooking show selection. Use to be great place to get Merrell and Keen shoes. Only few choices. Have house size area for tennis shoes though.

Average sporting goods store. On the expensive side... But quality of products are good. Staff were willing to help in looking for items.

I was looking at bicycles and golf clubs.  Not a single staff person offered to help in the 45 minutes I was there, wandering around quite aimlessly. May they be understaffed, or perhaps simply poorly managed, it doesn't matter. I ended up leaving without buying anything, despite my best attempts to do so. They have a large variety of goods and merchandise. TOO wide of a variety not to have helpful staff available to assist customers.  This is a good reason to support local small business.

So I wanted to buy a bolt action .22 rifle, active military, had ID, had orders, had mortgage statement...but since no state ID, no go. I guess this is the world we live in, but the abundance of caution seemed way overkill. Bass pro was ok with it, Dicks was not. Guess I know where to go in the future.
