Online ordering is the worst thing, avoid this dick sporting goods at all cost.

My fiance ordered a 700 pound Field and Stream gun safe.  He wanted to take advantage of the "ship to store" shipping for $399 instead of having it shipped to the house for $599.  He originally wanted to have it delivered to the Latham store but because they are moving to a new location, we had to do the transaction at the Glens Falls store.  There is a sign in the sporting good section promoting the $399 ship to store deal.  It is also on line.  DO NOT believe this!!  It has been nothing but a hassle.  The manager, "Ben", was disrespectful and "declined to do anything further with this transaction" when I tried to get the shipping charge adjusted.  My fiance talked to another manager and was also given the run around.  This is an almost $2000 safe and at this point my fiance wants to cancel the whole thing.  He was told that they couldn't do that because they don't actually have the safe.  Well, no kidding, it is at a shipping warehouse that Dick's contracts with to do these deliveries.   Again, nothing but a run around, a hassle, and very poor customer support.  Stay away from making any major purchases at this store and by all means do not fall for the $399 ship to store deal - it is false advertising!!

I recently went in looking for sneakers I've always struggled finding sneakers that were comfortable.  During my visit to your store I came across a very informative associate for which of whome approached me .... His name was Joe he helped me find the perfect sneaker for me.... I have never in my life received such outstanding customer service... Usually you walk into a shoe store and have people swarm you looking for that commission but not Joe he went above and beyond.  He looked at the bottom of my shoes to see how they were worn and could tell instantly what I needed .... Today I wore my sneakers all day for the first time and for the first time ever wearing new sneakers all day my feet didn't hurt at all..... You should be very proud to have such a wonderful employee.. I will never shop for shoes anywhere else .

Too much and too little at the same time. Missing good deals, especially with all the outlets around.
