I was shopping for shoes for my husband, when a older white male asked what size I needed. Never came back with the size & seemed very annoyed I went to find him & asked again for the shoe. At this point he returns an says 'got 'em' and I said 'can I see them?' He then flips the lid open & says 'SEE!' I've never dealt with such hostile customer service than here, won't ever be shopping here again!

Me and my friends were at Dillard’s all trying on homecoming dresses. We were all having a good time showing each other dresses and laughing, and our friend ( who is a boy ) has always wanted to wear a dress and is usually too shy, but we all thought, “hey it’s 2017, a guy can wear a dress.” and he was so exited! He tried on his favorite dress and he looked so beautiful. Then a transphobic, homophobic, cashier pulled us over and told us that we should not be “messing around” and to “put the dress back” we were all so taken aback and utterly surprised. We didn’t realize that there were people that were like this today. Then when we told her politely that this is what he wanted and that it wasn’t a joke. But the woman would not believe us and called sercurity to get him out of the women’s dressing room. He was so devastated and still is today. he started crying, and is very emotional. Just writing this to let anyone know that Dillard’s is not accepting of boys and dresses. smh

I Love Dillards! The People in the Handbag Dept are Super Friendly & Helpful ...(especially Noemi!!) She is Very knowledgeable...and a Great Asset to that Department. A Wonderful Shopping Experience indeed...
