I discovered this place on the Michelin Guide App, and it's well deserved to be on that guide. Every meat was delicious, but the brisket was easily my favourite. All the sides were delicious especially the beans and the corn bread with fresh butter. Such a good barbeque spot, highly recommended. Thanks to all the staff that provided delicious food and a great experience! One recommendation, please improve the sauce game. Some more variety would have been great. Parking: The first hour is free, it then does get expensive relatively. Wheelchair accessibility: Full accessibility.
A bit out of the way but it’s worth the trip if you’re looking for some good bbq. I quite enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich but I did have to add lots of BBQ sauce to it. It comes without any BBQ sauce. The fries were salty delicious and crispy.Food: 4/5
My husband LOVES BBQ, and I was looking for a good spot to celebrate his birthday. After researching a few places, I found Smok. I ordered food to go, and it did not disappoint. The quality, taste, and service were amazing! My husband ate like a fat rat and I did too. Since February, I’ve been coming back again and again. The food is consistently great, and so is the service. Normally at restaurants, I place a to-go order online, but since the cocktails are so good, I like to come in, sit at the bar, order a cocktail, and wait for my food. I haven’t had anything I don’t LOVE, but if you’re looking for recommendations, the smoked salmon is delicious, the smoked wings are tasty, and the cornbread is scrumptious. Now, that’s me a flexitarian but my husband ALWAYS orders the chopped brisket, and the mac and cheese and he says all of this is FIRE! I’ve tried a lot of dishes from the menu, and I have never been disappointed. Check them out for some great Colorado BBQ!
First time visiting Denver, and with all the great reviews this place has I decided to give it a try. I ordered 1/2pound ribs- good flavor but a bit dry, wings had a very good flavor but a bit dry too. Mac and cheese and fries were great.Food: 3/5
Loved the experience overall. The location is inside a building with other restaurants and they share a bathroom. There are tables directly inside the restaurant, and some outside of the door. Coming in, you see the menu in both paper and written behind the cooks. You get to see the food coming out. The prices are fair, and the flavor is there too. I really liked the brisket and okra. I liked the burnt tips, but not my favorite. The chips and queso is good, I loved the queso and I don't usually like it. Overall, I'd recommend it for a BBQ place.
I had the pleasure of eating from here after a friend ordered take-out. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fried okra. The sandwich was massive and tasty. The fried okra rocked!! The seasonings and slight tenderness made my mouth water. Honestly, I've paid more for much less quality and quantity. I will definitely return to dine in.
Coming from Texas I have a high standard for bbq. This place doesn't really give off bbq restaurant vibes and it's more like a food court inside a building with hotel rooms above. I went during happy hour and I really enjoyed the specials. The old fashioned and pork belly was easy the best thing here. Brisket was little dry for me and average but had a good flavor. Ribs were really good and the jalapeno sausage was average as well. The corn pudding was more like elote which was good. I was told this place was the best bbq in Denver and I was disappointed but still a nice little spot to eat after work if you work in the area. Just go for the happy hour special in my opinion but still check them out.
The food and service is amazing! They are very welcoming when you enter the line and they ask if you have any questions about the menu, which is helpful. No one there seemed like they hate their job. Sometimes that leaks into the service at some restaurants and you can tell. Not Smok!! They are excellent. The food was well cooked, was the right temperature and was served up quickly. The seasoning on the ribs and burnt ends is really nice and smoky . They even come to your table and ask if you need anything. They treat you well. It was clean in the restaurant and on the tables . I’m all smiles. Tip these people. Thank you all!! You’re amazing!!
First time eating here and we really enjoyed it. The staff was great and the food came out quickly. The only reason I gave the food four stars was because it was pretty pepper heavy. Even the mac and cheese had a heavy dose of pepper on it. So if you aren't a pepper person or pepper sensitive, then this might not be the place for you.Food: 4/5
