I went to Dr. George for 3 years and recommend him to my mother. But we will NOT go back. Lori, one of the employees was very rude and disrespectful to my mother, she was angry because my mom didn't buy glasses from her. I understand she may get some kind of commission for her sales but that is absolutely NO way to treat patients. I am disgusted with this service, and I really hope it was the glasses and not her being racist.

Horrible service and NO common sense.  Took my 6 year old son in for an exam, he had no known problems. Dr George was very nice, knowledgeable.  My son Failed the exam, and was diagnosed with Amblyopia (fine, I had it also, surprising, but ok) so he was prescribed glasses. 
Here's where the problems start....
They took him out to pick out glasses, I knew we would only have a few options being on Medicaid, but they gave us
None. The woman handed him one pair, and said point blank, these are the only ones that can be fitted to his face. She didn't measure his head, his nose, NOTHING. We were given NO options on paying out of pocket for anything, like scratch resistant lenses, NOTHING. They said we will call you in 4 weeks to pick them up.  Still I left it alone. 
We Went back today to pick up his glasses, the woman handed them to me AT THE APPOINTMENT COUNTER, and could have cared less if we walked back out the door right after. I asked them to adjust them for him and make sure they fit, she stayed in the same spot and just asked "what needs adjusting". After several requests we went into the other room to sit down and adjust them. All her and another girl did was bend them a couple times (with no heat) to curve behind his ears, and once to fit his nose.  He was never given a quick exam to make sure he could ACTUALLY see with them on.  My 4 year old needs an exam and I will NOT be taking him here.  I'm aware that because we have Medicaid we are very limited in options, but that doesn't mean my son deserves low quality/no treatment at all.  The way he was treated it would not surprise me if they do this to everyone.
