This was a beautiful campground. We were in space 73 and there was really no flat area to pitch our 8 man tent without a slope. This was not to bothersome as there are several options if you have a smaller tent. We chose the spot sight unseen online, and wish we had done a little homework first. We arrived after dark and would not recommend this for pitching a tent, (city folks here LOL). The campground host arrived to greet us at about 10:30 PM, as we were still setting up. They were very friendly and had lots of suggestions for us. We were COLD as it did get into the upper 30's at night; BUT we also went in early Oct. not doing our homework first... The showers were very clean and the water was hot. We did inquire on leaving the next day about better spot options for our next visit and the camp manager/staff did suggest some other spots. Please call before making an online reservation and do your homework before reserving if you have special needs. Overall we were very happy and will be returning here for camping in the future.

Right next to a HS so don't go during HS football season. Good size spots and well maintained bathrooms. Also has hot water showers. Some pics from strawberry peak which is just down the road. A must see if you visit.

Enjoyed my stay here. Dog friendly as the name implies. Easy access to trails. Family friendly campground for hiking and biking.

My experience with this place sucked! I drove here from Redlands to do a day hike, for a couple of hours. When I pulled in to the camp ground there was no one at the kiosk to take my money and it said No Day Use on a sign. There was also an empty parking lot next to the kiosk. I assumed the sign meant no day use in the campground and parked my car and walked in to find the trail head. After reaching the trail head, which was a half mile walk in, a little old lady on a go cart asked if that was my car parked out front and I said it was. She said I had to move it or it'd be towed, that there's no day use. Long story short, unless you're willing to spend a night and pay the over night fee for camping, you're not allowed to use these trails or the empty parking lot, even if you're willing to pay for it. Don't go here! Bad business, service, and totally over-regulated. Big waste of time!

Incredibly clean bathrooms and showers. The grounds are well kept. It's a fun place to camp and hang out. There are some really nice trails marked. The only weird thing is that it's near a high school. Our spot was next to the fence that separated the campsite and the school. It didn't ruin our camping experience, but it did feel a little weird camping while a football game was going on.
