Lake Gregory Regional Park

About

Lake Gregory is a four-season resort that has activities for the whole family, including fishing, boating, swimming, waterslides and much more!

Story

Introducing the NEW Lake Gregory - WATERPARK - an exhilarating, fun, inflated on-water playground. Combined with our Swim Beach and Water Slides, Lake Gregory provides the most on-water fun in the San Bernardino Mountains. Situated in the San Bernardino Mountain’s Valley of the Moon at Crestline, the NEW Lake Gregory provides respite from hot summer days. Cooling pine forests and mountain views surround the 84-acre lake (as big as 60 football fields), which is a favorite for sunbathing, swimming, paddle boards, peddle boats, rowing and fishing. The lake is stocked twice monthly with trophy-sized trout. Just 74 miles from downtown Los Angeles, Lake Gregory is an affordable and refreshing family mountain retreat.

Come up to the NEW Lake Gregory and take a splash.

Lake Gregory Regional Park is located in the San Bernardino Mountains community of Crestline. A San Bernardino County Park, Lake Gregory has long been appreciated for its fun water play and excellent fishing. The area was known originally as Houston Flat, but was renamed after Arthur Gregory, Sr., its developer and a famous citrus grower, bought and developed land in the Valley of the Moon. He was instrumental in creating Lake Gregory and financing completion of the resort development.

We spent all day on a Saturday and the place never was too crowded. My kids and all of the Grandkids had a fantastic time. Even though the concession stand was closed, there was plenty of good food within easy walking distance. All of the workers were very friendly and professional.

If it's hot and you have children it's a great place to spend a day. 25 bucks to jump on the water toys only 10 if you just want access to the water and it's also ten to park so it's expensive for what it is but it's fun for up here. The water does have green floating grime it really cold at first and you will sink in the mud upon entry.

Great concept...horrible execution. Lot of fun inflatables to climb and bounce on but because of a 100 person limit in the "waterpark" area at one time you end up standing on hot sand in a waiting queue for what seems like forever. It's supposed to be 20 minute sessions but it seemed longer and then it takes more time to clear the area before the next group goes in. Be aware!! The "Life Guards" don't seem very well trained. We had a young man slice about a quarter size flap of skin on a sharp rock in the water. No big deal, I get it it's a lake, but the Life Guard had a first aid pack with nothing but band aids. She then calls over another life guard who looks all of 13 who happens to have a bandage and a wrap. She the. Wraps his dirty wet foot in the wrap and asks ME if she should wrap the bandage to keep it from getting dirty. SMH.

The lake wasn't too bad. The staff at the boat house was very freindly and helpfull on info. Price wasn't bad. Really big lake and the wheater was awesome. Plan to go back to try out the water park. The bad part was the bathrooms. And trails to the lake. We had to either walk or drive to go use a restroom. And going down the trails to the lake were bad. Watch people left and right fall on the trails. Some up keep or put in cement steps or ramps would be awesome for people to get to the lake to fish.
