I had to edit my review. My first experience here was wonderful, but then the service department declined and declined every time. It reached a point where I had no faith that they were changing my oil when I took it in for a full service. They certainly didn’t rotate the tires. They also didn’t fill the tires, leaving the light on my dashboard glowing for tire air after my service. They also neglected to wash the vehicle on that nice evening. I thought I would give them one last shot. I tried to schedule my appointment over the phone, but no one answered. So, I resorted to trying online. My car needed new tires. I added that to the service plan thinking that it would tell me a price, but there was no price quoted. I called the dealership and no one got back to me. I ended up calling corporate to report my issues after the front desk just kept transferring me to the service department’s voice mail. Finally, a service manager called me and said, “ya, I got a paper put on my desk today. You want to tell me what this is all about?” I was so angered by his tone that I canceled my appointment and will never return. Apparently, there is no one responsible there to handle complaints.

Earlier this week I went in for an oil change, during this process Don Jacob Toyota employees attempted to fill my tires but apparently could not because I have metals caps on the tires and they were corroded together. This is perfectly acceptable, the issue that I have is, no one told me this and when I went to leave I informed the gentleman at the counter that my tire pressure light was still on even though the tires seemed full. He asked me to bring the car back in and he would take care of it there. After one of the employees tried for a while I told him to just leave it before he damaged the tire, which I would take care of it myself. Keep in mind no one has informed me about the metal caps issue at this point. When I got home I noticed the tire was a bit low but not much, I figured I’d the tire after work. That night I went to work and in the morning I noticed my tire was completely flat. I drove the car to the vehicle maintenance personnel at my job (Full time Military member). The cap broke right off with little effort. So I spent my morning changing my tire and the taking my car into Don Jacob. Later that day when I went in to figure out what was my next step, I encountered my real problem. I was in my uniform because I had to go to work right after that, the gentleman that was helping me out was very short with his coworkers but I’m sure that had a lot to do with the fact that he had a disgruntle customer in full military uniform (not my intention but I was running late for work). When I spoke to that manager, he seemed annoyed that I was even bringing it up to him at all. I told him that the biggest issue I had was that when I went in I did not have a flat tire, I did not have any issues with a flat tire and in under thirty miles after leaving his building I had a flight tire from damage to the tire valve. He’s reply “that’s not my problem, this is a very common issue. None of my people touched your tires or would have used a tool to it.” Even though they attempted to fill my tires on more than one occasion and I believe an employee did use a tool… then I asked him if their cameras would be able to see if hand pliers were used, seeing as it happened when I was parked in front of one of their main cameras. At this point the manager looked at me with content and smirked as he stated “I don’t need to, I asked my guys if they used pliers.” I get it that’s what they said, but if you have a camera readily available and a customer is asking if you can take a look, isn’t it worth taking a look? Don Jacob Toyota says they value their customers, but I can tell you the way I was talked to I didn’t feel valued, I felt as if it didn’t matter what I could have said or even if they did find video proof on their cameras, that no matter what oi would have been in the wrong, while talking to the manager I never once felt an ounce of respect in his domineer, tone or general actions. I understand that me being upset didn’t help, even if I did work a thirteen our shift to come out to a flat tire and employees that really don’t seem to care what so ever towards my issue. As much as having a flat tire, right after work annoyed me, what bothered me the most was feeling like the staff members could care less about me as a person… My overall experience with Don Jacob Toyota based off of the last few years, if you’re looking for mediocre work to be done at above mediocre pricing, this is the place to go. If you find that they have done something wrong on your vehicle, prepare to be blamed. If you’re looking for respect as a veteran, stop by on Veterans Day.

I usually work with another dealership but wanted a Toyota so I stopped by looking for a used vehicle for my son. This being the first time my son was buying a vehicle I let him talk with the salesperson. Luckily he ended up working with Bernard. He took the time to make sure my son got the vehicle that fit his needs and most importantly his budget. The whole process from the sales side to the finance side was a great experience. After the delivery one of the owners Steve Jacobs came out and shook our hands and let us know if we need anything we can give him a call, this was a great touch on an already great service.

My first time buying a Toyota. The salesman that helped me was also named Patrick. Friendly, nice guy. Went in looking for a lightly used Corolla. Found one (2016 model year with less than 10k miles, was used as a LEASE and not a rental ), test drove it (drove beautifully, steering wheel was crooked to the right a little bit but no play or shaking even at highway speeds) and then had my step brother come and check out the vehicle to make sure it wasn't wrecked. He noticed the passenger side front fender only had primer on the inside after popping the hood and checking out the engine bay but everything appeared to be properly fixed (whatever the issue was), ended up purchasing the vehicle. Went to work afterwards, and on my way to drop a coworker off at his residence, while braking and going over bumps, we both heard rubber squeaking noises and crunching noises coming from the front end of the car. Both sides, driver and passenger. On a 2016 Corolla with less than 10k miles... I will update and change my rating towards this dealership depending on how they'll handle this situation for me. My trade in (a 2014 Ford Fiesta) never made any suspension noises. Ever. Update: The next day I took the car in to get looked over, the used car sales manager handled it very professionally and kept reassuring me I would get taken care of and they kept their word. Thank you.

Terribly disappointed. Realized I had an issue with my car after I bought it. Toyota techs should have known about this issue and disclosed it before I bought it. They didnt. $300 later and I'm still waiting for a damn phone call to let me know if they are going to help. They should have paid for this. instead they pushed me aside. Horrible communication. Never again
