I agree with the other posts that this store has terrible customer service.  The employees, including the manager, treat you like you are a terrible inconvenience.  The markdowns are almost never done or correct, and they are rarely consistent with the sales that DownEast Home sends out in the emails.  I am familiar with how they determine when to mark down items and once spoke with an employee, I think the assistant manager, about what the price was supposed to be (because the item was supposed to have been marked down and it wasn't) and she told me I couldn't know/she wasn't going to tell me the markdown dates, although they do in every other DownEast home i've been to.  Sometimes they have large boxes of inventory that they leave sitting.  Once I asked to look in one of the boxes that had been sitting out and was not being put away,  but I was told I couldn't because I would mess everything up?  

I love DownEast Home but I dread going to the Henderson store and try to go in the evening to avoid the daytime workers, including the manager.

We bought a sofa set from this place and at first their furniture was pretty stable and nice. After testing it for about a month I noticed one of leg started to bend so I decided to put a stopper from preventing to bend more. That didn't work so my wife decided to call corporate and they answered as quickly but the manager that they in charge of the task was useless. He didn't get back to us after two weeKS and he sent someone in my home claiming with a 20 yr experienced on how to fix a furniture. I was aT work when all these happened in my own home. I literally drove less than 30 minutes so I could this guy's work but honestly he was already left and said done when I got home. He claimed that he will be back and sure he said he will fix it. With a 20 yr bullshit experienced that he's claiming I don't think he is coming back. My manager didn't even check back that guys work so we decided not to call because it's a waste time. PLEASE DON'T BUY ANY SOFA FROM THIS STORE. THEY ARE NOT STURDY IT LOOKS LIKE ONE BUT THEY ARE NOT. I just found out what's wrong with my couch and requires to take off the lining. The foundation of the bracket is the issue. The leg causes to bend because of poor foundation. It needs to attach another bracket to support a foundation to prevent bending in the future. Thanks again for nothing for the manager from Henderson location..

This store has terrible customer service and will rip you off! I bought furniture and was over charged over $1600! I paid extra for delivery service and the scheduled delivery was a no show. After many calls, they brought the furniture but were going to leave it outside. I refused delivery after learning that, and now they are refusing to refund my money. This is a very shady business with absolutely no accomodation for their customers. Stay away!
