Started in 2010 by long-time cyclist wunderkind and 3rd generation bike mechanic Jon Hughes, Downtown Ferndale Bike Shop quickly made a name for themselves in the bike shop industry. Staffed with a wide variety of biking personalities, racers, fixed gear enthusiasts and all around cycle nuts, DFBS caters to all types of riders, professional or otherwise. Our goal is to get you into a bike that fits properly, rides great and doesn't start your wallet on fire.
DFBS is also the only local stores specializing in Fixed Gear Freestyle bikes, parts and repairs. We fix'em so you don't have to!
Our new bikes includes a year of free service and either a.) a high five from Rob or b.) a kiss from our shop dogs Mace and Magnum. You can't get that kind of service anywhere else!
DFBS also offers a wide variety of gently used bicycles, from 70's Banana Seats to modern mountain bikes with an ever changing inventory at fair prices. All bikes are tuned up and given a 13 Point Safety inspection before leaving the shop. Our motto? Ride safe to ride another day.
