Don't bother making a service appointment, it is meaningless. Edit: I tried to make an appointment with their online chat, and it went unacknowledged even after the presumed robot said it was all set. I then made an appointment with the online system and that was acknowledged for 8:00 am. I brought in my car at 8, telling the service writer that it was burning oil and what I suspected as the cause. I assumed my car would be given attention, since I had made an appointment. I wanted to know if the repair would be covered under warranty, since the turbos had been replaced the previous year and should not be failing so quickly. The service writer said they would let me know after they checked out the car. After 7 hours with no communication, I called and the service writer said appointments just put the car in line, and my car had just been parked out back and left there. At 3:45, the service writer called and said that my car was examined and determined to be burning oil - which I had already told them was the problem - but that it was too late in the day to diagnose the cause, so I could leave the car until Monday (with no assurance that it would be looked at before end of day Monday, so it could be the same scenario of not having a car and having to pay for a rental to get to work), or I could come and pick my car up. Also, any repair would not be under warranty, since slightly over 12,000 miles had passed - something she could have told me at 8 am, so I would not have had to leave my car there for 8 hours for nothing. I picked up my car and went elsewhere the next day and had a plan for how to deal with the problem in less than 1 hour. An appointment implies that a car will be seen in a reasonable time, not that it will just be put in the pile somewhere and not examined. I understand that there could be a backlog of work, but to me that means its time to hire more technicians, or be honest up front about possible wait times. The service writer gave no indication that I would be waiting so long, and seemed surprised that I expected my car to be checked out on the same day of my appointment. Full disclosure: The service manager reached out to me by phone, but when I called back I got voicemail, so I responded here instead.

One of the best experiences I've had. Nick and his team at Suburban Ford of Ferndale were able to find me the perfect vehicle I was looking for at a price that was better than anywhere else I had gone to. It was a quick and easy process, without having to deal without dealing with a high pressure salesman. Highly recommend Nick and his team to anyone looking for their next vehicle. Thank You!

Took in my 2010 F250 diesel to be serviced after being at body shop for 5 months. Brandon in service was very attentive and returned my calls very quickly. He kept me updated on the status of my vehicle. They were able to diagnose my truck and fix it within one business day. Will definitely be back in the future for oil changes! Kudos Brandon B in service!!

Thanks to the fantastic experience I had purchasing my Mustang 5.0 last April, I returned to Suburban Ford of Ferndale this week and had an even better experience purchasing an Explorer XLT. At 12:00 I told them what features I wanted, where they worked their magic to locate the vehicle and at 5:30 I was driving off in an even better Explorer than I requested. Suburban Ford of Ferndale is clearly the best dealer I've ever found - and I'm 58 years old and purchase new cars every 2-3 years. Thank you for your fine work, I really appreciate it!

I am a first time Ford owner. After calling a handful of other Ford dealers with exactly what I was looking , this is the only one that worked with me, gave me options, and actually ended up giving me a better package with an amazing deal! My sales reps. Name is Jake Swanson. I TOTALLY reccomend going to see him. ESPECIALLY if you're young. He will give you options and NEVER push you to do anything. I love my new Ford!
