I became a patient of Dr. Kami about 2 years ago. Since then, I have appreciated his practice so much that I have also enrolled my fiance, as well as my mom for his services. Always a refreshing experience to visit Dr. Kami.

I started going to Dr. Kami's office three years ago after being unsatisfied with two other dentists in the area. I can pretty confidently say that not only have I found my experiences with Dr. Kami and his office to be very satisfying, but I think its about the best professional services of any kind that I've experienced. Minimal waiting, professional staff up front, skilled and pleasant assistants. Dr. Kami himself is a joy to work with. He explains everything in understandable terms, suggests options, makes cost sensitive recommendations, and is a general pleasure to work with.

Dr Kami and his staff are phenomenal, very friendly and professionL. Just had the quickest easiest least painful filing ever. Even though I moved to the city a few years back I keep coming out because I don't know where I'd find a better dentist! I could not recommend more highly.

In all my 40+ years of going to the dentist, Dr. Kami and his staff are by far my favorite! Everyone is very knowledgeable, patient, and do their best to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. They really put the patient first! I included some photos to demonstrate the process of getting and making a crown in Dr. Kami's office. I wish I could put them in order and provide captions, but yelp doesn't seem to have that function. In any case, after grinding down the tooth, they use a Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing systemt to take images of the mouth where the tooth will be replaced with the crown, both before and after the original tooth is ground down. Then that information is sent to another machine where the crown is molded, based on the three-dimensional model provided by the computer scan (no mold made from goopy junk in your mouth needed). Next a block of ceramic material is put in milling machine (the one with the blue water) where the crown is formed. After about 25 minutes, the crown is formed and then tested for size in the patient's mouth (it's a light purple color at this point). After it's filed for proper fit, it is then sent to a small kiln-like oven, that heats the crown at high temperature for another 25 minutes, until it is fully solidified. When it comes out it's close to the same color as the original tooth. It is then ready to be filed some more for fit and put in the patient's mouth. All totaled the process takes under two hours. No waiting for a temporary crown. No uncomfortable goop-impressions. No need wait two weeks for the permanent crown. Very satisfied!

I've been a patient of Dr. Kami's for 20 years or something. Love him and all of his technicians and office staff. They are always friendly and helpful and ON TIME. I never wait around. They are super efficient, and the facilities are really pleasant.
