I just recently joined Dr. Rahmatian's practice following a years-long dental/periodontal issue that continues to haunt me to this day. Dr. Rahmatian was very knowledgeable, took a lot of time considering what treatment plan was best for my case, and was gentle during what otherwise would have been a scary procedure. He explained the issue and presented me with multiple options for addressing it, including providing me referrals to specialists. His lack of ego and desire for his patients to get the best possible care - even if it means seeing someone else - is very unique. He was also great at following up after my procedure. He called me personally the next day to check in. I'm so glad I found his practice!

If you need a really great dentist, then you must see Dr. Rahmatian. He is the kindest, most caring dentist I have ever been to. He takes the time to explain everything and he does it with such a great, positive attitude and kindness. Dr. Rahmatians office is in Berkeley, across the street from Alta Bates Medical Center.

My wife and I have been with him for six years. Friendly guy, gives you a nice range of options for your dental care. Emphasizes catching issues early when they're cheap to resolve! He steadily upgrades his equipment, too. Recommended.

I have been under the care of Dr. Rahmatian since he took over the practice from Susan Fisher many years ago. My concerns about finding a new dentist as competent as Susan were quickly allayed shortly into my first visit with Dr. Rahmatian. Since then I have gained an even greater respect for his abilities and the way he runs his practice. If you're searching for a new dentist who you can trust, communicate with and rely on for many years to come, then I strongly encourage you to give Dr. Rahmatian a try. BTW - his office staff, Christina and Zoe, are also very competent, caring and a delight to interact with.
