I can't say enough good about this expert doctor. He did an ablation for me and i am so glad I found him. He is a very very excellent doctor and I am so thankful for his years of knowledge and expertise. I felt totally safe and well taken care of under his care. I would totally recommend Dr. Hwang and I am so glad he was recommended to me. I would never want anyone else to take care of my heart. He is the best!!!!!

2013 I had Dr Hwang as my surgeon for Ablation. I have a Rheumatic Heart condition from having Rheumatic fever. Almost 6 hours in surgery. I was Atrial Afib free for 4 years. Now, my valve repair is scarred over & I will need open heart surgery again. Dr Hwang says the facts as far as what can be done medically or not or what he can do. Most great surgeons are that way. Dr Delos Cosgrove did my Open Heart surgery in 2000 at Cleveland Clinic. Blunt, honest evaluations. We choose whether we have hope! I have been in many hopeless situations & have been told their is nothing we can do, they just don't know. Hope to me comes from Faith in Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ & in their love for me & so that's where my hope comes from to take that information given by doctors, the facts as they know them, & go ask of Him who has the power to heal, when there seems to be no hope.

Truly, one of the best and most dedicated to his patients Doctor I have ever known. He works long hours to serve us all. Highly recommend.

Proximal Atrial Fibrillation I phoned the nation's leading manufacturer of ablation catheters and asked their regional sales manager who he would go to if he needed an ablation. He said all Utah heart surgeons were "good", but Dr. Hwang was "super". The procedure began with 45 minutes in the MRI tube and dozens of photos to map my heart. Ten days later, Dr. Hwang spent 3.5 hours doing the ablation. THE PROCEDURE TOTALLY CURED ME. I am elated.

OMG! One of the most non-compassionate, rude, jerks in the medical field!!!! How dare you brush off a pt. to his face telling him there is no hope and pretty much suck it up!!! I know who I WON'Tn be referring to anytime in the future!!!
