Excel Eye Center has seven locations in Utah County: Saratoga Springs, American Fork, Lehi, Orem, Payson, Spanish Fork, and Provo. All locations offer general eye care services, including contacts and glasses. In the Provo offers we offer LASIK, Cosmetic Surgery, and in house aesthetician. The assistant that took me back was great. She was kind, friendly, and I felt like she knew what she was doing! The doctor was great to check my eyes thoroughly and remember the issues I have seen him for in the past. I love Dr. Theurer and would recommend him to anyone.

This review is purely regarding the billing office/ customer service. I was billed for two co pays in July. One for March and one for May. The March co pay was paid by debit card the day of service. The co pay for May was for surgery, which was fine so I paid it by check, along with the debit transaction number for March's co pay for proof. I then received another statement asking for another co pay with the same billing code for the same procedure on the same day in May. When I called to question this the girl in billing simply said to me that that she couldn't help me understand why I had two co pays for the same procedure on the same day (I had already paid another co pay to another docs office for a follow up 10 days after) but would check with the doc/ surgeon regarding the bill, because she said he was the one who initiated it.I said okay. I asked why I was originally billed for my March visit 3-4 months after it had been paid at the time of service and she simply said: Well that just went to a different place (?). I decided to call the office back. I spoke to a receptionist, explained the situation to her and asked her to put me through to another billing clerk, maybe a supervisor. I was put on hold. The receptionist said that no other billing clerk could help me, but that billing would speak to the doc when he returned that day and she ( the receptionist) would follow up with me to make sure I had an answer. That was a week ago...I called this morning and was told that the Doc is out of the office until next week. Today's receptionist didn't want to get involved, and said she knows nothing about the situation, so I will just have to wait until next week - just like that... Hmmmmmm... I explained both times , plus another time in a note ( giving the March debit transaction number), that I wanted a statement showing a zero balance, and that this simple situation needs to be resolved asap, so credit problems do not arise. No one seemed to care about that.

The friendliness of the employees was very impressive. Dr. Dell Morris was right on time and took the time to explain in detail my eye examination. He was able to answer my questions and was extremely kind to me. I will definitely go back to see Dr. Morris for any eye issues. I HIGHLY recommend the clinic and Dr. Morris.

Not the best experience overall. Called me by mistake when the glasses were not even ready, sent me to the wrong office location, toddler glasses turned out to be of poor quality and had to be redone. took a great deal.of my time on things that could have been done right the first time.
