This so called doctors actions were completely irresponsible. How can some people commend him? He put thousands of people at risk and lied about his whereabouts! He has no morals whatsoever! Don't you people realize he is still a student and just ran off to be a cowboy so this gig looked good on his resume! You don't go to one country to 'help' people and then come back to your own country and risk people. It only goes to show he is not interested in helping anyone but himself. If I were in the emergency room and he walked in I would crawl to the next hospital before letting him treat me! Forget about the fact that he put thousands at possible risk, he could have possibly damaged the livelihood of the business' he went to during this time, not to mention the panic alone he has caused throughout the city. I would seriously urge him to consider another career. His license should be revoked!

Best wishes to one of a rare breed who actually risk their lives to help stop the spread of a disease that will kill thousands of people before it's brought under control. For those of you who think he put ANYONE at risk of infection - why don't you learn a thing or two about Ebola before you write. Dr. Spencer - thank you for being someone who actually gives back. I cannot imagine a better way for a doctor to prove he is motivated to help people. You are a hero. Get well quickly. The world needs more of you.

An admirable human being. Best wishes for his speedy recovery. (Those who think otherwise need to read up on Ebola virus transmission. And take a hard look at themselves and what they do with their lives before branding a doctor who travels across the world to contain a deadly outbreak as irresponsible...)

He is a hero and should be treated as such. Someone is only contagious if they are symptomatic, and if any of you recall, he didn't even get his fiancee sick, the person who he was closest to when he came back which should prove that point. Furthermore, he diligently took his temperature two times a day and at the first sign of a fever he was hospitalized. How dare anyone say he went to Africa for self-gain? Thank you Dr. Craig Spencer!
