Dr. Sonnenschein  is very thorough during each appointment, I never feel rushed. He is very knowledgeable about medication and takes time to explain how it works within your body. He genuinely seems concerned about finding the right medication that will work for you

Dr. Sonnenschein is not the best, but not the worst. Very empirical and lacking in on his social skills... an "old school" type of psychiatrist. He's great if you can properly communicate what you need and want. I'm just not able to do that properly, and thus treats me like i know nothing... which is understandable. But he will work with you on getting you on the right combination and dosage of medications properly ( instead of taking you on and off medication on the fly).

If you are able to communicate properly and/or can tolerate someone who is very empirical and assumes you know nothing, tten her will be a good choice. 

I personally didn't like him at first, but now that i am on the right combination of medication and at the right dosage, i can tolerate what little interaction i have with him.

I am so grateful that I found this office. Dr. Sonnenschein always takes the time to talk me through any changes in my care or medications, answers any questions I have, and is very thorough with his explanations. I've noticed that he does tend to run behind, which would happen with thoroughness, so I always schedule my appointments first thing in the morning.

THE WORST IN TOWN! I was all out of my medicene and called him 3 times to try and get it filled. It took him 3  business days to respond to a simple request. Doesn't care about his patients, he has no clue what my name is even though he's been seeing me for 2 ye
ars. Basically his best skill is he has a good writing arm for prescriptions if you get my drift. What a quack.
