I drive 4 hours every month to see Dr Simones nurse practitioner. I get in and out very quickly. If I am early or even late! I've been seeing them for 6 yrs for a debilitating disease I've had for 25 yrs. If I have ANY questions..there answered informally. My one problem I did have was from the lady at the front desk. When I arrived for my appointment..she noticed I owed a back bill of 12.97. And since it was over 120 days late it was there policy I couldn't see the dr! I asked her to ask my Dr what I was to do. And my Dr told her to let me in. Thank goodness!!

Receptionist Janet was terrible! I was waiting in the waiting room, not a patient.. An elder lady was upset about her visit... Janet didn't offer any type of assistance, just offered to charge her for her records $17.50 and 50 cents per page after; so she could go somewhere else. Janet didn't ask, "Could I let you speak to someone above me about this?" She didn't apologize or feel any empathy towards her. I am writing this review because the girls at your front desk are ruining the doctor's reputation in this office, which runs your clients off. I would never want my mother or grandmother treated like that by someone in an administrative office setting, or by anyone. Most of all, receptionists are here to help... Which Janet did the exact opposite. I hope you find quality employees for your office soon!

He is an excellent doc that did thorough evaluation of situation. They do cutting edge trials in pain management. The group as a whole are very personable and friendly while maintaining a professional relationship.  As for previous comment on waiting...I have never had to wait usually get in early if not on time.

Dr. Simon is a busy man, he is a teaching doctor, researcher and noted pain management expert.  He is respected & highly sought out speaker in conferences related to pain management.  While he is very busy, his staff are equally dedicated and with his guidance provide excellent service.  Our consultation with his PA has always been very thorough and she is diligent asking and answering questions.  You may find your appointment a whirlwind experience (in a good way), so I suggest having a family member attend to help you with note taking etc.  Prepare for your visit by using a journal noting your daily pain level avg, what aggravates the condition, etc.  There are some good sites which offer general forms for recording information which will help with communicating your condition during your first appt. The staff have been very helpful in scheduling, discussing medication prescriptions & costs, and services offered.  My son has a condition that will require life long pain management, and the medical staff work to provide pain management using a variety of medications which are not as harmful to internal organs such as the liver etc and alternative treatments such as acupuncture etc.  We made the decision to drive 3 hrs to seek help.  It was worth it.  What was even more promising was during the first appointment they brought up the distance and said once they had the condition stabilized they would work to locate a physician within our area to transfer care.
