Doctor Whitaker and his nurse Vickie are terrible at their jobs. Doctor Whitaker is an idiot. It's obvious he makes most of his money from prescribing drugs nobody needs. He does not listen and he hates anyone who tries to tell him what works best for their bodies. He's afraid of rare conditions but refuses to tell the patient that they'd be better off in the care of another doctor. Instead, he likes to belittle, and ignore them until they everyday get so fed up that they make the decision to go away. Pet his ego and he'll melt in the palm of your hand but he'll never be helpful. He'll just recommend the ER or another doctor. He seems like he wasn't the smartest kid in Med school but he wears that white coat like a Uniform of his accomplishments. He is trash & Vickie is a lazy shrew.

Awful! I was a patient in Lee's Summit. Was transferred here. I was sent for blood-work, which I did before I left the office that day. They lost the blood-work and said I never did it. Not sure what they did with my blood, but they never found it back. I was told to come back and re-do it if I wanted the results. I was told on 3 occasions the Office Manager would call me, which never happened. Before I could go back and get new blood drawn, my new Dr. left and I received a letter saying to pick another Dr. I think not! You closed both Lee's Summit offices and switched people's Dr.'s months ago and you still give the addresses and office info on the messages you have to listen to while you are on hold for 15 minutes waiting for someone to answer the phone at this location! I bet I can find a new Practice that is a little better!

This used to be a wonderful medical office but the last few years has really gone down hill. I have to wait on the phone for extended periods of time to get a hold of just the receptionist to transfer me to be put on hold or go straight to voice mail. No one calls back without multiple phone calls...not billing, not nurses. I have been dealing with a single bill from a physical from May that should be covered by insurance and they have now sent me to collections because I did not pay after 26 days from them resubmitting it to insurance!!!!! I am so grateful my doctor has left this practice and so far have had a much better experience at his new office.

If I could give negative stars, I would. You have to wait an hour for a receptionist to pick up the phone and then they stick you straight to voice mail. Will not be going back ever. The worst practice I have ever been to. 11/14/17 (updated)- OK, so the staff finally got back with me and apologized for not calling sooner. They claimed that they were going through a phone service change. They did seem very apologetic and caring, and gave me an update on my health condition. I changed my star rating to 3 stars.

At least one of the ladies at the front desk acts as if it is a great imposition to have to check you in. I resent it deeply. She looks at her phone instead of telling me to come over to have her help me but one of the other ladies is busy and points me over to her. Looking at her phone, she says, "Can I help you?" It deteriorates from there. Really resent this kind of treatment.
