Last appointment of the day and the staff were nice but the Dentist Michael Green was cold, rude to his staff and stoic towards me.  He looks like the type of person that makes a real effort to not show his true negative self at all times.  I had a cleaning and needed follow up work but decided to go with a different dentist even though I paid more.  Peace of mind was worth it.

I had been going here for years, mostly for cleanings / checkups, never had a problem until recently.

I went in like I had done many times before for a normal cleaning and checkup. Dr. Green and the rest of the staff were nice, but not overly friendly.  I was experiencing a slight pain in my mouth on my right side top teeth, it was pretty uncomfortable so I brought it up during my cleaning. They had done several x-rays and noticed I needed fillings, on one of my front teeth and another on my left side. This did not explain the pain I was experiencing on the right side of mouth so the only explanation they had was that I was grinding my teeth during my sleep. 

OK. Sounds reasonable, so that night I went to CVS and reluctantly bought a night guard for $30 (after using a coupon they gave me. Thanks!) which was supposed to prevent grinding. After wearing this for several nights, my pain only got worse. It was becoming difficult to concentrate at school and work. After about a week the pain became unbearable even after taking Tylenol and applying Orajel regularly. I left class early during an important lecture and called Dr. Greens office and explained the situation. I told them I had been in the previous week for a cleaning and my pain had only gotten worse, also my night guard was not helping. I asked them if they could take another look perhaps or write me a prescription until I could get the fillings taken care of. Even though I was needing them on the other side of my mouth, it was the only thing I could think of given their findings, that would be causing SO much pain. The girl on the phone again wasn't overly nice but was pleasant. 

After getting of the phone with them and getting in my car to drive home I figured I would just go to their office because it was right down the street from my college. When I got there, I told the girl at the desk that I had just spoken to her on the phone and wanted to go ahead and get a prescription if I could, and possibly talk to Dr. Green. This woman at the counter could not comprehend for the life of her why ANYONE would show up to a dentist office without an appointment, she was extremely apprehensive and condescending, like I was some second-class human scum for showing up to the prestigious office of Dr. Michael Green moaning about a little bit of pain. 

She walks to Dr. Greens office, and I can hear him from the lobby screaming at this woman, all hell has officially broken loose in the office of Dr. Michael green. I hear him scream "JUST TELL HIM TO TAKE SOME TYLENOL OR SOMETHING!" Already tried that doc! The woman hurries back with a prescription in hand again being extremely apprehensive. "Your cavities are on the LEFT side of your mouth so that's not what's causing the pain." Now I'm no rocket surgeon, but I pretty much deduced this beforehand, but I appreciate the clarification. 

She hands me a card for an Endodontist down the road in Tampa, and a prescription for some pain medication that I ended up not filling. "You probably have a crack on your tooth and we don't deal with that here, you need to go to an Endodontist." I was honestly just glad to be out of there at the time because I'm sure had I stated any longer Dr. Green would've rushed out into the lobby and choke slammed me. I called the Endodontist and was able to get an appointment for the same day, they were really nice too, Yay!

I show up to the office and they did the EXACT same x-rays preformed at Dr. Greens office and I'm pretty sure it was the same machine, if not very similar. Turns out I NEEDED A ROOT CANAL. Thankfully they did it for me that same day and my pain was gone! After the root canal I needed to have a crown done which they referred me to Dr. Green for. I ended up going to another office down the road to have everything done and I could not be happier! Dr. Greens office called me a week after asking when I wanted to have my fillings done, I politely told them I wasn’t coming back.

this place is horrible. I left this office in tears today.  I WENT THERE FOR A CLEANING, AS SOON AS I WALKED IN, THE STAFF WAS TALKING ABOUT ME. THEY MADE ME FEEL SO UNCOMFORTABLE. I DECIDED TO STAY BECAUSE I TOOK THE TIME OFF FROM WORK TO DO IT.  AFTER THEY WERE DONE WITH XRAYS. THEY ONLY SPENT LIKE 10 MIN FOR MY CLEANING. ALL THE STAINS THAT I CAME IN WITH WERE STILL THERE.  THEY DIDN'T CLEAN MY TEETH. WHEN  I ASKED HOW COULD THEY POSSIBLY FINISHED BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING REALLY BUT CHECKING MY GUM. ONE OF THE LADIES SAID I HAD TO DO THE REST FROM HOME.  MY TEETH DID NOT CLEAN AT ALL. NOW I AM SEARCHING FOR ANOTHER DENTIST TO GO CLEAN MY TEETH WHERE I AM GOING TO PAY OUT OF POCKET.  THIS PLACE IS  HORRIBLE. I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO EVER GO THERE..   I WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND FELT SO BAD THE WAY I WAS TREATING..

Very nice staff and dr Green did a great job!! They made a dental plan for me that was financially very affordable and they don't pressure you into do anything if you don't want to. They will tell you if things are not an urgency.
