Since the 80s, I have frequented the place of nostalgia. I remember everything being 70cents and today with inflation, it's whatever. I know the items don't cost that much BUT when I compare it going out to bar to grab a drink, Beignets are way more cost effective in having fun. 

And they are pretty delicious.

Historic though not in its original location which was in the French Quarter. One waiter, Paul, said his parents would drive up, flash their headlights, a waiter would come take order, then bring your order to your car. He said he often went in his pajamas as a young boy!! It was as good as Cafe du Monde.

The coffee was good. The Beignets were great. The waitress never checked on me though. And I wasn't offered a refill on my coffee or water. The place is very quaint.

Not Cafe Du Monde, but still pretty good. Right off the causeway too.
