Went to my Aunt's retirement party that her co-workers were throwing her at the Dusty Boot.  They were paying for the appetizers and we had to pay for our drinks.  I asked Donella if she knew if more apps were coming and she said yes.  More appetizers appeared and at the end of the party, I got my bill and I was surprised to see two of the appetizers on it.  I went to ask what was up and instead of a simple explanation and apology for the miscommunication, I received attitude from the waitress.  If she had been polite and made a simple apology, I would have willingly paid for the entire bill.  As it stood, I was looking for some reduction in the bill because of poor service and communication.  Due to the issue and her attitude in making any correction and saying "She would pay for the appetizer" I said, no, I'll pay the bill and I signed the receipt and left a $4 tip.  Then the bar tender comes up a few minutes later and said he removed the apps as he believed there was miscommunication and so I would be billed for just the drinks.  By that point I was so disgusted I didn't care and signed the revised bill.  

Point being, This place doesn't have that great of food, and I hope you don't get Donella for your server.

Tasty American food.  Burgers, apps, salads. The pear gorgonzola arugula salad was delicious.

I love this place. I need to go more often. The owner/manager is very welcoming. Love the beer options. The patio is amazing.
