As a Realtor, E & M Plumbing is one of my vetted contractors for inspection repairs. They are fair in their prices and the jobs are done right. They will charge a $95 fee to assess a job ONLY when a seller or Realtor wants to have a quote from them for the inspection items. This is because many times the repairs are not completed once the negotiations between buyer and seller have been completed. Should the seller complete the repairs with E & M, the $95 is deducted from the invoice.

This is reasonable and allows them to keep their prices affordable for everyone else. Who wants to do work and not get paid.

Just so you know, I am not allowed to take any kind of kickbacks from companies I recommend.

Not at all recommended.   Had an inspection report on house with very clear-cut items that needed to be done.  Had several people within E&M say this would be no problem to provide a quote and had to follow-up multiple times to get them to actually get the quote.  Then twice had one person (Danielle) intervene and insist they do a $100 dollar service visit first to determine what is wrong and provide a quote even though the inspection clearly outlines the items and they are very basic (replacement of pvc pipe).  Basically,  the repairs are minor/inexpensive and they want to charge an additional base fee to make it worth their time rather than just be honest with client.  Also they refuse to charge based on hourly charge, so basically they can charge you whatever they want...and you will already be $100 down for initial fee so they have you invested already...not worth headache and run-around.

Very happy with this company, fair price for work done. Dan was the plumber in and out in 20 minutes..😀

I have had to call E&M on two separate occasions and they have been great. They can usually get you in within a day or two and have a very friendly staff. Dan has been the plumber to work on my jobs both times and I can't say enough about how professional and great he was! Rare to find such good work nowadays!
